Is Riot informing you about their NEW Banning systems? 4 steps for perma-ban

I am currently banned for 14 days, let me say this now i didnt get a 3 day ban or a 5 day ban, striaght up 14 days. I was banned because i lost too games and i was "toxic" not too toxic, my team was really doing bad. Now i am fine, i was banned okay, but the real problem is why i wasen't i warned about the new system? its basically 4 steps. STEP 1: CHAT RESTRICTED

STEP 2: CHAT RESTRICTED

STEP 3: BANNED FOR 14 DAYS (the one i have)

STEP 4: PERMENTLY BANNED

I didn't know this is how their new system worked until i saw a youtube video, i am not sure if the video is true or not, i've tried looking for something RIot officially said but i've had a hard time.

-So here is my question can someone tell me how the bans go? will my next game bad behavior gonna be a permanent ban? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, ALL I WANT IS TO SPREAD AWARENESS. May i add they have't answered any of my tickets? its been like a full week or more since it happened, idk what that's about ? if am banned i lose the ability to create tickets? so many questions i would love if someone could answer them.

Very possibly. It's a very very thin line. Even minor unsportsmanlike behavior could be the end.

Heyo! If you're banned, you won't lose the ability to create tickets; however, if you repeatedly bring up a topic that they've already clarified with you, they may choose to close the ticket at that point.

The current escalation system is mentioned in a few places such as:

Now that you're on a two-week suspension, your next punishment will likely be a permanent suspension if you are unable to reform. Once you get off of your two-week suspension, your behavior will be monitored pretty aggressively, so you definitely will want to watch what you say and your interactions with other players. If necessary, you may want to create a new account to effectively work to reform.

Player Behavior tickets in general may take longer to respond to than, let's say, a general question about League of Legends; especially because an unauthorized 3rd party applications ban wave just rolled out. However, be sure not to bump your ticket by responding to it before a Riot Games Support Specialist can respond.

They changed the ban system last season I believe. It was pretty widely spread news.

And yes, the next punishment you receive will be a permaban if you just had your 14 day ban.

God i like reading post like these.. Because one thing that makes this game so unplayable are toxic players, aka players with tantrums who have the audacity to verbally abuse a new player or a player that is just bad at playing games.

If you were toxic. Im so glad RIOT muted you. I hope they continue to ban toxic players.. Im sick of tired " go here , go there" in blind match games.. and whine "waaa waaa our player sucks it makes him a troll , REPORT! "..

yup I came back froma 14 day suspend to play ONE game with a pre made group and they trolled and harassed me all game but I get reported by all of the since they had more reports I get banned, I made a thread of what was said I didn't even say anything bad

so yes if you say anything remotely aggressive you will be perma banned from this game

Edit: there's still a chance for you OP. Best way is to mute everyone at the start of the match and to start with something copy-pasta in the chat like "Hello team: I like to focus on my gameplay so I will be communicating through pings. Thanks!"
Then mute them without telling them anything.

here is a little thing.. dont talk about reporting anyone in game ... or even after the game.. just an fyi.. if you are going to do it.. just do it.. if not.. dont.. i dont care.. dont tell people to report you..

on the boards you will see 2 things..

#1 people complaining that they get banned and say the system is broken. #2 people unhappy people they think should be banned not banned at that moment they reported them and say the system is broken.

ok so you know that lil thing that pops up when you 1st download league and install and it does after every patch? where you have to click accept on terms and conditions. well they have set forth guidelines in that wall of text that you must abide by regarding everything on league including behavior. that is your warning. from that point on they can discipline you any way they feel is justified to do so. typically they follow those steps of progression based on your bad behavior but does not mean they have to. its their game, you agreed to not to be an assclown you were , therefore you got punished. dont be an assclown and you dont get punished. simple.

Im sry dude but ur toxic did u read what u put in chat before u hit send cause it doesnt seem like it and if ur heated from the game before then take like a 10-15 min break and just remember u wont see them again (most of the time) so just get along and if they start attacking u just mute them and dont talk about them

What I'd recommend you do for your next game (after your 14 days are up), is, immediately when you get into game, mute every single player, ally and enemy alike. If you can't handle someone being toxic to you, just don't listen to them. Smart pings and cooldown timers are more than enough to communicate in game.

The AUTOMATED system follows that rule, however a HUMAN can over-ride it and push you right up the ladder.
