I don't even know if this is being worked on but, if it is, is there an ETA on it? Its annoying that my only choice is to dodge or play through a 30-45 min game to report someone for banning your champ because you didn't instantly relent your role to them.

I see the logic behind this idea, but that's not going to help. Allowing you to report during pre game isn't going to change the fact that you're still going to play with the person you're reporting. On top of that, adding this feature is going to give rise to " give me mid or report" " play the champ I'm telling you to play or report" scenarios and will serve to tilt teammates with trading report blows before the game even starts.
I like this idea. There was a person in champ select in ranked that got landed in mid, but wanted to jungle. He asked if he could jungle instead and the player that was set to jungle politely declined in being he doesn't know how to play mid lane. So this mid laner then decides to constantly troll saying he's just going to feed the opposing mid laner and locks in my pick of Nasus. Since I could determine that I was going to lose LP anyway, i just suffered the dodge and 5 min penalty rather than wasting my breath in a 40 min game.
Honestly, just have pre and post gsme chat logged is all the game needs.
