I don't even know if this is being worked on but, if it is, is there an ETA on it? Its annoying that my only choice is to dodge or play through a 30-45 min game to report someone for banning your champ because you didn't instantly relent your role to them.

No flash no life2 votesI see the logic behind this idea, but that's not going to help. Allowing you to report during pre game isn't going to change the fact that you're still going to play with the person you're reporting. On top of that, adding this feature is going to give rise to " give me mid or report" " play the champ I'm telling you to play or report" scenarios and will serve to tilt teammates with trading report blows before the game even starts.
Azlinea1 votesSee I'm ok with "play my role or report" because that's a quick check in a chat log to see who the troll is. Just like it would be a quick check in a chat log for "switch or ban" but playing through a long game on a champ I wasn't intending to play feels more like punishment for wanting to report someone. Its one of those "But I get more satisfaction if I can actually click the button" type of things.
BTW I made this post right after this happened to me, and honestly I just dodged. I'll be that person when I'm using normals to learn a new champ. And honestly if someones first thought is to ban a team mate's champ in the hopes they just give up a role I don't really want to play a game with them.
Harrowing Gale2 votesI like this idea. There was a person in champ select in ranked that got landed in mid, but wanted to jungle. He asked if he could jungle instead and the player that was set to jungle politely declined in being he doesn't know how to play mid lane. So this mid laner then decides to constantly troll saying he's just going to feed the opposing mid laner and locks in my pick of Nasus. Since I could determine that I was going to lose LP anyway, i just suffered the dodge and 5 min penalty rather than wasting my breath in a 40 min game.
Azlinea1 votesYeah I was lucky, my set up was just a normals game but the biggest issue with ranked is losing LP because of a troll and then not having enough people actually report the person for it so they go unnoticed. Or have it be a type of trolling not easily identified by chat logs or KDA.

Wolveronin1 votesYeah it's just trouble having someone trolling in champ select. A report feature is sorely needed. When you go xin support with smite and cleanse, I'm not going to stick around for that, but the troll is never punished. It's me losing ranked LP, a series game, and having to wait to start the next game. It's immensely frustrating.
