Ban Code UTC 2900

So got banned the other day without any real reason why. I don't troll, grief, use exploits, share accounts or anything else that I would consider ban worthy. Sent in a ticket and waiting for a reply but the ban code was UTC 2900 which I'm not sure what it is. Started a new account but would like to know the reason why I was permabanned.

UTC is a time zone. So i believe that means you were banned until 2/22 of the year 2900 and unbanned when it reaches 22:22:22 in the UTC time zone.

You'll probably be dead by then. Rip.

LOL, read online that the UTC is Riot's code for why the player was banned. It's a permanent ban so wouldn't need a time for reinstatement.

Permanent bans aren't actually permanent bans, they're just bans meant to outlast your lifetime. I don't know why this is done, but nobody in any game is actually permanently banned, just banned for many centuries.

But really that is an extremely vague ban notification, how can you reform if you don't know what you did wrong?

(I'm assuming you know what you did wrong and just don't want to admit it to the boards)

My best bet is extremely toxic or elo boosting, scripting and exploiting would have a message mentioning 3rd party programs or cheating.

Actually I just started playing a few months ago and have only 5 games of ranked play (for placement) so not sure how I was ELO boosting. I picked up the game to play with my niece so am definitely not toxic and am generally fairly friendly when I play games.

Best thing to do is submit a ticket. copy paste that terrible excuse you got and leave contact info and ask why you have been permabanned without any warning or even an explanation. I can get maybe older players getting odd bans if stuff stacked up over the years but since you barely even g to the point of playing ranked? That makes no sense unless you are literally Faker and winning every game. That or the entire enemy team hated you so much they all reported you be hacking

Yeah, my ranked matches went 1 win and 4 losses so I stopped to practice on normals and bots. Again don't think that would constitute a record for a boosted ELO.

I can check the list, but I don't think it is up to date anymore. People just don't ask about ban years anymore, and i don't think 2900 is on it. I mean, I've seen 2100, 2287, 2500, etc

im not even a month old vet n i got the same error n ban punishment for no reason, i only played coop vs ai cause im still learning, n yet i get punished for something i didnt even do? or no explanation...

And yet when i got the email on the ban, said that the email failed to pass Fraud check...s what does that mean?

I submitted a ticket and got a quick reply back on Monday. Riot stated that it was a proactive ban because of possible suspect activity but after reviewing my ban quickly overturned it and gave me a 10 game IP boost as an apology. If you did nothing wrong I wouldn't worry too much about it and just submit a ticket so they can review your case.

wish it could be the same for me at this point ive been waiting over 2 days, and im running out of patience, im facing the same issue as you atm n im anxious to return to the field, im just same as you where i dont like to multi account task, the efforts i put into one i like to see results in the end, but when the new players get punished like this for no reason its a drag to be able to get to those tiers eventally, its slowing our progress and should be looked into chaging some core algorithyms in the Reporting system

   I just had the same thing today and they unbanned me and apologized. They are trying to catch bot players who sell their champion accounts. Some players like me got caught up in it. I haven't played against any players just bots and leveled up to 10 in two days. Riot was really cool about it.
