I just played a game where I did pretty poorly as the ADC Ashe into enemy Miss Fortune. I was pretty tilted, ready to /ff when it hit 20 minutes. But my mid Kat turned my whole attitude around. She came and ganked for us, told me gj everytime I successfully participated in a kill, and was very nice about a pretty decent Ashe ult on their escaping top laner. So many times I play a game where something goes wrong, and my lane isn't doing great, and people start pointing fingers and blaming each other. Even I've done it. So to play with someone who didn't blame me for losing lane, who tried to give up kills and complimented her teammates on their plays--it was great. Instantly un-tilted me. If she'd been rude or obnoxious, I'd have sucked even more, but because she was so nice, I believed in her and was able to pull it together and be carryable.

So, thank you, Katarina, and thank you for reminding me why it's important to be kind and patient, even when it appears that someone is uncarryable and losing your game for you. You had a great attitude from champ select to nexus destruction, and were an absolute pleasure to play with. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

flaming and blaming doesn't win you games actually, doing so will most likely ensure you lost said game as you make the player that is playing bad playing even worse

the Katarina in your team knew that if she wants to win, he needs to be a decent human and help you out. Trash you out. You won't kick a dog when its on the ground and hurt now would you? sadly, most players don't know this

I think the only reason you had a good experience is the fact that you got carried and you won. I would have loved Kat just as much if she shit-talked the entireeeeeee game but she still ganked and got fed and carried.

Was it me? I just had a recent situation in my normal games just like this with the same characters, I was playing katarina.

If not, sorry wasting your time and mabye it was just a coincidence.

I had a very Opposite experience last night where I was playing Olaf Jungle and their Xin was wrecking havoc in all my lanes and It was almost impossible to gank kennen mid, Gnar top and Vayne Soraka Bot. The bot chimed into my performance after they got ganked for the second time after being over extended while I was assisting top. Then our mid chimed in calling me an lcs try hard because I bought a sightstone first item. I believe we were down 22 - 9 before we started actually coming back and the enemy team threw hard. Xin and vayne thought they were gods. I was more pissed at myself and just wanted to give that game up because my team flamed the shit out of me. But I kept trying to make plays and eventually managed to squeeze a win out of it. The worst part was every time I got a kill I was flamed for KSing and multiple times they asked the enemy team to report me. best advice I give in those situations is not to retaliate and just keep playing and talking like it doesn't bother you. Unfortunately I flamed them back but it didn't make me feel any better.

Keep composure in frustrating games. It will make you a better player.
