There needs to be something extra we can do to report toxic players

I'm getting very tired of people trolling and throwing games. They die in the first few minutes of the game and they literally afk and troll for the rest of the game because they are mad. It's completely ruining the game.

Why is flex so terrible? I play with 1 friend, and every single game we get teamed up with a party of 3 players, and it's always a coin flip: either the game is a complete waste of time, or it's not. These people collectively decided to throw the game. Our jungle afked, and the other 2 just ran at their team until we surrendered.

And they won't get enough reports because the other team just doesn't care (for some reason...) and they are the majority of our team so they won't report each other. So here is what I'm asking:

Is there another way I can report these people? Can I submit a replay to prove my claims and get these people removed from ranked play?

does not matter how many reports a person gets in a game the number of reports a person gets in a game does NOT increase the chance of punishment in fact asking for reports and telling your reporting them is considered reportable and harassment

Here is what we know:

We do know negative attitude and verbal abuse reports could possibly stack, because people are not banned specifically for negative attitude and verbal abuse, instead people are banned for "toxic behavior". What report category is toxic behavior? Is that verbal abuse? Is that negative attitude? Is that both? Is that neither?

We also do know if you ask the other 8 players to report, you have an increased chance that 1 of the 8 do put out a report. This also ensures that a player gets a report in case you DC during post-game.

I've never seen anyone talk about being banned on here for asking for reports. Do you have any evidence showing that this has happened?

Oh, I've seen that before. But what I haven't seen it any evidence on here of people being banned solely for asking for reports. If you can show me some proof of that, it would be great. If it's happening, there should be plenty of topics about it here.

Riot has said it is against the rules, but if people aren't getting punished for doing it, then it might as well be legal.

BTW, how do you know that no one gets punished due to solely calling reports. Most people don't go complaining on boards if they get banned.

People who write: "pls report for xxx" are usually more toxic beyond that. I literally provided you with the official word.

Why is there a decent bit of hits from before 2013 but yet nothing after? People obviously haven't stopped talking about it and according to you two, people are regularly getting banned for putting in false reports.

While it is possible, the fact that no one on here nor reddit has made any posts in the last few years saying so, means to me it's not happening. And if it is, it's happening so rarely or infrequently. And we already know people are reporting in extra categories and are getting confused on what various categories mean.

I've provided my proof that I don't believe bans for false reports are happening as frequently as people are doing it, if they are happening at all. It is now your turn and kei's turn to show me different.

What does false reports have to do with this? I never claimed that anyone got banned for false reports, where do you see that. I claim, with the knowledge in mid that Riot have confirmed it, that you can get banned for calling for reports on a player, as it can be seen as a form of bullying (as stated by the Rioter).

Perhaps you misunderstand the meaning behind:

Calling a report is punishable

We don't mean that filing a false report is bannable, we mean that you can get punished for typing "report xxx for xxx..." in game. This is why just a single report is all it takes to trigger a review.

Im sure this is the only possibility. We are not talking about any false reports.

When I checked a few months ago, I couldn't really find anything that wasn't in the tribunal era. So I've done my work.

You made the counter-claim. Back it up. If it's happening as much as you say it is, it shouldn't take very long.

If someone goes afk in my game, I report them period. I don't care which side he is on mine or theirs, because I know even if he is on theirs I probably will end up with them in my game again unless I do something.

Now I'm not going to talk about it most the time, I'm just going to do it, and most people who don't que together feel the same way.

The getting paired with a bunch of people that qued together is its own problem.

Riot just really isn't serious about their behavior system unfortunately. They don't punish hard enough and they aren't consistent. People do things and don't get punished so they keep doing them. Other people see these guys get away with it and then start doing it as well. And before you know it, you get to where we are now - League of Legends is the most toxic game.

It's amusing to me how much this game focuses on toxicity but yet continues to stay the most toxic game year in and year out.

The best thing to do is just not support the game. Don't buy RP and let them know with your wallet that this stuff isn't cool. That's the only way they will listen.

the system currently only gives a punishment notification if the game you reported them is the game that punished them. They could be punished the next game and you'll never know.

As King Discord said, multiple reports don't increase the chances of someone getting punished. All a report does is to flag the system to check of toxicity, the answer will be the same every time you ask. It's like asking someone if the lights are on, asking multiple times gets you the same answer.
