I was band and I don't understand why, can some one help me maybe understand why I've been banned?

This was pretty weird, I woke up this morning and received an email stating I was banned! It said I was banned for third party malicious software that helped me with the game? I really don't understand why I've been banned, the only third party stuff I have is for my HUD, Map, and LVOC. Can anyone help me understand why I've been banned? Is switching the voices and maps a big deal ? :C I wasn't told about this or anything..Should I have read the rules more?

Any time you modify the game, you run the risk of facing consequences. Some modifications are known to give players an advantage, and are outright forbidden. Some modifications are not known to do so, but as they modify the game, they are considered "use at your own risk." Additionally, some of the programs that make cosmetic changes to skins, etc., may contain other software that is blatantly against the rules. Using those programs, even if you only use the skin changes, is still forbidden.

As far as the specific programs you used, this list might give you some information about specific programs that Riot has mentioned in the past.
