HONOR LEVEL 0 IS TERRIBLE.

Hey league community!

Here is a rant I'm willing to make regarding the honor system!

I was dumb, yes, and so I counter flamed a Xin Zhao for saying in all chat: "Trist is a feeder and deserves to die." (I was the tristana) I said some pretty mean things back to him that I'm not going to type out again, let's just say it landed me a spot with a two week ban. I'm usually not a flamer and I rarely get angry at my teammates for "inting"; but this Xin sh*t talked me and I told him my mind and muted him after that. It wasn't until I realized that I was playing with a 4 man pre-made who were trolling and getting people banned by using their communications and trolling.

Back to my point, I've been stuck in Honor lvl 0 for about a month now and I've had almost more than 70-100 honors. I've received the honorable leaf honor (3 honors or more) 9 times and still, honor level 0.

Lesson learned, don't counter flame, it's not worth it.

Yes, I was dumb, but now I know. I'm here to tell you all that bans really do work. And they hurt a lot. I won't be receiving my end of season rewards this season, which is unfortunate, but I deserved it. NO MATTER HOW MANY HONORS YOU WILL GET AFTER YOUR BAN, YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE LVL 0 HONOR.

Hope you can all take what you read and apply it to your gaming experience. Don't flame, just mute!

The idea behind honor is that it should be at least half a season to level between honor 2 and honor 5. It is not designed to be a quick thing to earn - honor is a representation of your continual, unwavering sportsmanship over a long long period of time. For this reason, it ideally takes at least a month to increase an honor level. Considering your honor was likely locked for around a week or so after your ban ended, you still have a while to go before you should expect an honor increase - just as someone starting at level 2 honor wouldn't expect to hit level 3 in a couple weeks.

That being said, it's also possible that you may be validly reported in certain games, and that may be slowing your progression. It's hard to say for sure. But you seem like you learned your lesson, so I doubt that's the case.

That's kinda the point of the honor system You obviously weren't technically considered honorable this season if you got banned, so it should take a LOT of reforming to climb up again I would say 2-4 months to get back to honor 2, and there is not enough time Good luck next season I guess
