We need a better report system Riot.

We need a more impactful report system. People continue to be toxic even though they're threatened with reports, and only makes them troll or throw games even more. We need a system that Riot can quickly see and separate the toxic players from the ones trying to get better and have fun. This was my first ranked season, made it to Silver 5, and literally went to Bronze 4 because there was an AFK or troll. My entire teams reported these players, and I have seen no feedback from Riot on ANY of them. (I know that you receive messages from them when people get punished). People shouldn't have their ranks ruined because of those who don't have anything better to do than mess with others. This has gone on long enough Riot, please do something to fix your toxic players.

Threatening people with reports is harassment and may result in punishment. As you say, it often results in them trolling harder, so do not do it. Punishment is calculated per match, not per report, so mass reporting does no good.

You only get the message when your report triggered their punishment. It usually takes much more than a single game to get punished, so it's rare for you to get the message. That doesn't mean your reports didn't help, it just means they haven't been consistently toxic. Your report will contribute to their punishment if they continue that behavior.

The system is working fine, we are playing in the era with the lowest toxicity LoL has ever had.

We don't "need" anything to "change" anything.

You know wrongly. A player only receives that message when their report was the one that triggered a review. No one else gets it.

I am overall in favor a system that more effectively deals with the issues surrounding league But of course, we all understand that the side-effect of this system is less reports, less ability to report and that it requires the player base to grow skin and not get upset and try to report if someone calls them "bad" for not even noticing nearby teamfights or something.

+1 It would be nice if League would implement similar tools.
