You guys are so great at LOL. How I wish I could be you. The way you farm and the way you roam. How I wish I could be you. The rage in chat with no words to help. How I wish I could be you. Every time you die and blame your team, it just doesn't seem fair to you. How I wish I could be you. Don't forget those team fights you start, 5v1, because you could't wait and you die. You guessed it, I wish I could be you. Name calling, surrendering, and the "/all MY TEAM SUCKS" it must be great to be you.

Really, as a noob, but also as someone who is trying to get better. I would much rather you say things like "Hey, their team is AP, build some MR." No shit someone did that for me the other day and I learned something. I go on Mobafire to look at builds, I do custom games to try to get better at JG and last hitting. But there is so many little things smurfs could help us with instead of complaining all the time.

Lets be honest, making a smurf account you know you will be stuck with new players. And if you fall into the category of the first "poem" why even bother. I have fun playing LOL, but lately I have been playing ARAM, just to stay away from the smurfs who do think they are Gods gift to LOL.

Also to the noobs. Let them know you are new and take any good advice they give you. Don't let a few of the way some behave stop you from having fun. Get better at what you like doing and be a rounded player as much as possible. Don't just go mid or ADC. Learn all the roles. And for the love of Pete learn how to ward. (I suck at warding still)

I love helping newer players when I play with them but most people lash me with prideful responses so I dont try much anymore :/

I have a smurf account. It is level 16(I think). I made it to help my brother get started. I have done exactly none of the things you accused smurfs of doing. At all. However, you did summarize most "ima darmon smorf" guys.

I smurf to help my gf get started and ive come up with my own little code of conduct to make it fair for everyone

play the 1v2 lane if there is one
start cull and go easy if laning against a non-smurf
take objectives but dont excessively kill everyobe Id urge you guys to play like this, it makes the game a hell of a lot less frustrating for new players.

Umm, yeah...generally speaking...smurfs are players who A) care enough to make another account and B) also have the talent and time to do so.

So, generally speaking, we smurfs aren't the one's messing up that badly. The 1v5 stuff does happen, but usually its a wrap for your side.

Anyways, funny poem, even if it is rather untrue. aka. noobs can be horrid players, too. I should know since I was one once.

Honestly most people get offended when you try to give advice. It seems more optimal to simply say nothing and make good use of the ping system to ensure they understand which objective they should be focused on next.

Im Bronze III and ive actually added people on skype to help them with getting better at the game. I give advice where it is needed and always stay positive. I personally think Smurfs do what they due to the fact that they just think they are better than everyone and cant step down to help anyone. I give just as good advice as they will and i know the game just as well as almost anyone in the game, i just have a hard time with the execution in game when under stress thanks to my disability. Seriously yes someone can be a lower rank than you, it doesn't mean that they are stupid or dont know the game.

Define smurf.... Is it anyone who is on a second account? Or does your main account need to be level 30? Do you have to be a certain rank? I.e. bronze,silver,gold,plat, etc.? People always throw the word "smurf" around but it really has a vague meaning. All you know when someone says their a smurf is that they most likely have another account. What level is their main account? Who knows.... how good are they really? who knows...

I have played this game for years and remember back in season 2 when I was super bad I thought "lol I am smurfing" when I was on a second account playing new players. Then I realized that's retarded to do and all that means is you are really bad at the game. I now have another account that I originally had in bronze to "smurf" which is now in silver 3. Does this count as smurfing? Either way.. I am still bad at this game.

What I am trying to say is:

If you are level 30 don't make a second account soley to beat on new players. You are a retard and clearly suck at the game.
If you are an actual diamond or plat or w/e player playing at a lower elo... dont say shit in ranked because no one cares.
Stop hating on "smurfs" because most of us who have played this game for years have more than one account for various reasons. Just focus on your game and getting better.
People are going to continue to make more accounts and Riot is never going to do shit about it. So stop bringing it up.

Yeah trying to help players that don't want it can prove very hard. Most of them don't want it from what I've seen since they're all perfect and say things like "I'll play how I want". Meanwhile building Darius as an adc or rushing zzport on warwick since it's such an op item

lmao i feel this. i was on my smurf and our annie was raging at the team for being bad (youre in lower levels/elo, what do you expect???). people tend to not realize how much of a difference there is between levels since they keep saying that "it doesnt matter" and that the range between master and challenger is even farther (which may be true). it feels like every time me and my friend are on our smurfs tho, the people that reveal themselves are always the worst. i'm not just saying skill-wise but also attitude wise. we had a katarina who would NEVER participate in team fights and when she would it would only be if she thought she could pick up kills (rarely) which was obviously detrimental for our team in the end. she raged at us like so many smurfs tend to do.

Yeah, these are bronze and silver smurfs. Pay no mind to them. The people that dominate and don't say a thing are usually diamond/high plat.

Most smurfs aren't really great. Plat and Diamond? They're struggling in Silver elo after getting a lucky pass or MMR system granted them to keep getting gold or higher in every season.

I kinda wish they reset the mmr and place everyone in bronze. =D

Sometimes I feel like I'm still not good enough to even play on Normals, It seems like so much has changed since Season 3 that I have a hard time keeping up with the Builds, farming meta, Champion select and counters and such... This game sure does evolve alot. I personally believe people smurf because perhaps they feel like me and want another chance to re-learn with newer players, I've thought of doing this but know it is not right and I just need to keep learning and keep it fun.
