Problem with the reporting / banning systems

Okay so this is a huge problem I have noticed after being banned multiple times. First of all about 30% of the people I encounter in-game are more toxic than me. Another thing I have noticed is that if people aren't toxic toward me, I am never toxic. I think this is true for a lot of people but I don't know how many. That said, I think a lot of the behavior issues could be fixed quite easily.

I have noticed that if someone plays a game per day and is toxic every time, they are punished the same as someone who plays 100 games in a week and is toxic 2% of the time. So basically, the most toxic player to play the game could play less often and be punished the same as someone who just slips up once in a great while. I just played another game and same exact thing. I typed a lot but it was just me arguing with 4 toxic teammates. Almost every game I have 2+ toxic teammates. Sometimes I mute them but if they are able to get under my skin before I hit that mute button then it becomes this huge argument. Then I get banned for arguing with them.. I don't even really say anything that bad either. They will let me die on purpose or something and then I will call them out on it. Banned. the worst part is that this can happen once in 100 games. So lets say it happens 3 times in 100 games. I get banned. So all that good behavior means nothing because I was toxic in 3 games out of 100.

I think a good fix for this, would be instead of getting banned for 3 toxic games it should take a percentage of total games played. Lets say I play 12 games today and in one game I lose my cool and argue with some troll who's running down mid talking about my mom all game. I think the algorithm should let it slide because overall I'm not a toxic player..I mean everyone loses their cool eventually. Everyone has a limit. This game has actually made my limit much lower. I used to be able to ignore stuff but as I played over the years it has gotten so bad that I have developed anger issues. It turns on very quickly now...like one person can afk farm when I gank, then tell me i'm trash and it just flips a switch now. I have recently been able to get it somewhat under control, but as I said before, eventually I slip up. Then I get even more angry because I get a ban or chat restriction...and all this stuff builds up just to make me more like them.

P.S. I am in no way associated with XJ9 and honestly don't even like the guy. I think he's a shitty person but I am a big fan of his abilities as a jungler and general play-style. I think he's a very talented league player.

So lets say it does take 3 games to punish you.

You weren't toxic in 97 games, but in the last 3 games, you were toxic. So you get punished. Fair game, you were toxic for those last three games.

Lets say you just played 3 games as a casual, and were toxic in those games. So you get punished. Fair game, you were toxic for those last three games.

Lets say now you play alot, you were toxic for the 1st game, the 27th game and the 76th game. You are not going to be banned on the 78th game. In fact, when you play up to the 100th game, you still won't be punished.

The system punishes you on "consistant" behavior. If you were toxic on the 92nd, 96th and 100th game, you probably would be punished, based on the frequency you were consistantly toxic. But you won't be punished if you were toxic on the 1st, 27th, 78th game, cos that isn't consistant.

Its not the % of games you play that matter, its the % of consistant games you were toxic in that matters.

A slight difference in definition. But I know I did a horrible job in explaining it, so if you are willing to talk and understand it more, I'm happy to explain.
