Does the reporting system even work for the toxic players i report time and time again and nothing.

Over the past week i have tried to make it to gold v. I'm not asking for diamond or plat just a gold boarder and i almost made it ! but i have come across something that seems like riot hates me or god hates me ( for those who believe).

It started with a classical " Can i mid. No? Thanks i'm going mid anyways." and then proceed to hit me with that 0/12 yasuo [slayer-jinx-unamused]

i get it bad game bla bla bla but to be bullied out of my lane to surrender it and still lose it bullshit.

Another thing i have seen is the duo toxic players where they back each other up into tilting their own teammates. My last game i had a kat and morg who insulted all of us. reports goes out but nothing i have been in a 10 match losing streak from gold promos to now silver 3 falling to 4. nothing works i can go 22/5 and still lose because the team focuses more and throwing hate then grouping to push. i do not understand why even report a player when another comes to take it's place*[sg-syndra]*

Dude I've gotten to silver 1 once this season, back down to s4, up to s2, down to s3, up to s2, back to s4, and now back in S2. It ain't God, or Riot picking on you. It's the nature of 5v5 team games.

I think I'm the only one I've ever seen admit that I actually do lose my lane sometimes and it's completely reasonable that I keep rising and falling. It actually tells me that I might be where I belong. Of course I have trolls and afkers and feeders. The other team has them too, man. Of course there's games where I go 10/1. Doesn't mean that I should get to gold and it's everyone else's fault. Just keep playing. Or make a new account whatever. I did that, got placed in silver 2... got to silver 1 and immediately fell back to silver 2 lol. My main started in bronze 3.

imo, I don't think Riot's reporting system is strict enough. It lacks of an "enforcing power".

The report system works. You are just confused because you think its the same trolls/toxic people in your game. Remember that everyone (including yourself) is on a different side of the pendulum. If you are rarely toxic, and slip up from time to time, the worse you would get (assuming its nothing serious) would just be Chat Restrictions. So youll still be able to play. Just limited with what you can type. If its a continuous problem then they'll get hit with the bans!

With that said also remember that you only get the notification if you were the last person to report them that lend to them being punished. So while you think they didnt get punished. They probably did, its just someone reported them after you which would give them the notification, and not you. It sucks and i really wish they changed it so everyone who has reported this person gets the notification, but sadly Riot doesnt see it that way!
