How does someone telling me to kill myself one game and someone else banning a champ I clearly hovered result in me being banned? and the chat is not as toxic compared to other stuff I've seen people get permabanned for.

Game 1: Consistent harassment of your teammates (namely Zilean), calls to report, as well as repeating zero tolerance phrases.

Game 2: Harassment and report calling to the Morgana

When you are on your final warning, any validated instance of toxicity will get you banned. To Riot, if you can't go clean and refuse to be toxic in the face of losing your account, then you don't deserve that account.

I remember a post 2 years back or so that stated report calling is not toxic. And what 0 tolerance phrase did i repeat?

To my knowledge, I have never heard of that post.

And the phrase was the "KYS". Calls to self harm (and racial/sexual orientation slurs) are not allowed in any circumstance

While this thread has your attention, I have a quick question.

Would saying "go ahead, report me", if someone is report calling that person, be zero tolerance? As it would be report calling yourself?

Well, it wouldn't be zero tolerance. Now could something like that get you punished? I wouldn't say so. Yes, it's passive aggressive, but it's not really anything too much or attacking another player. (IMPORTANT: I'm just a boards moderator. I don't have any influence or internal knowledge of how the IFS works, just what I've learned from my time on the boards. So don't take what I say as gospel, it could very well be wrong)

Yes, he said any use of it. Including quoting or repeating the acronym "kys" at all would get you flagged if reported.

It doesn't. You are never punished for anyone else's behavior, only your own.

That doesn't matter. The system doesn't look and see if you were as toxic as anyone else, it looks to see if you were toxic at all. In this case, you definitely were, so you were escalated to the next punishment tier, which just so happened to be a permanent ban. When you received your 14 day ban, your reform card specifically says that if you continue your behavior, you will be permanently banned.. You were on extremely thin ice, and you still refused to change.
