In low elo winning/losing is just luck

So I passed from Gold 4 to silver 3 in approximatly 24h hours cause of myself, tilting and connexion problem. My MMR became so bad I was playing vs bronze 3-4 and was doing 13lp win / 25lp loose. Since then I try hard and now I'm still silver 3 with a 17/19 ratio. Problem is, I realized that maybe 70% of my game were pure luck, someone trolling in their team or someone in my team ( when I say troll i mean real troll or a master yi in 0/8 at 10min)

I know their is a lot of player, lots of report but when I lose a game with a team that is try harding as much as I do except one that is just fucking the game for others, that I loose as a supp in 4/0/20 I just dont understand why I loose as much lp as this person ,even more or why my mmr is affecting by that since it s supposed to be related to my kda also.

The more I play the less fun I have, even when I win cause the ennemy team got 2 afk! This is just not normal that someone can just completly kill a game and not being ban forever!

I saw all this persons saying " you cannot say it's cause of the others if you loose, if you give 100% you will win" but it was true in gold, it's not true in silver and bronze, it became just luck and I think it's a real shame for the game and the gaming experience...

No one will tell you "If you try hard you WILL win". This game is not a quarter machine where you put x-effort in and you get y-result.

There are 9 other people in this game. So you do have to give a small amount of your success/failure to luck. Hey, it happens.

What people WILL tell you is that you are the only consistent element in YOUR games, and the only one that you have any control over. If you want to climb, if you want to get better, then you must treat every game like it's your fault, win or lose, but more so when you lose.

It's solo queue, you have to find a way to win your lane harder, to push for objectives, and to spread the influence of your lead to the rest of your team.

If you continue to push and find ways to improve, you WILL win MORE OFTEN, which will lead to climbing.

Chin up, keep learning, and keep improving. Good luck on the rift.

When the only restrictions to play ranked are 16 champs and level 30....then yea, any moron can get in...and they do as you have said. I stopped playing ranked a few months back now. I'm having a good time in norms. No pressure. I might try ranked again down the road, but it is such a joke atm.

I am not going to say it's just luck but it honestly feels really shitty. I am currently struggling to climb back to gold this season as well and I just haven't had that much fun. Like.... if I win lane I feel its because the other player just has no idea so I don't really feel good about it. If I lose lane is generally because I am constantly being dove by 2-3 players while my team always dead or just never in the right spot. Games are so sporadic and random and skills from one player to another is very inconsistent. I honestly just hate silver elo for this reason. I ranked 3 accounts to gold last season so I know I can make it through but.... its really bothering me right now. Didn't realize quitting for 3 months would make me so much slower. My reaction time is definitely slower and I have lost some of my confidence. At the end of the day the only thing you can do is focus on yourself and your own play and realize some games are just going to be shit and not much you can do about it. Write those ones off and prepare for the next one.

But I do feel you fam. Shits rough right now :(.

I realized that maybe 70% of my game were pure luck, someone trolling in their team or someone in my team ( when I say troll i mean real troll or a master yi in 0/8 at 10min)

So this leaves you with 35% assured win, 35% assured lose, and 30% up to you, to a potential 65% winrate.

For the record, I climbed from low gold to plat 1 in S5 with a 53% winrate overall. A 65% winrate is WAY enough to climb your way quite fast.
