Ranked offenses should have more weight.

We have all had some random person who spams for surrender votes or in the case of my last game, feeds top...and even tho the enemy support DCs and its now 4v5... continues to spam the surrender command, ultimately saying "Well, dinner is ready, and Im hungry, bye" and just leaves... the game was MAYBE 30 minutes at this point, and we were behind yeah, but that bush face checking asshat just would never cooperate with the team... And this being a ranked match <albeit at the end of the preseason so not super important, I know> I feel it should be something with a more serious punishment plan.

I propose a soft ban, if you are shown to have a pattern of behavior such as constituent reports, then straight ban them from ranked for the season, since not only are they not taking it seriously, they are ruining it for those of us who are trying to, who earnestly want to improve. I mean we ban pro athletes for games or seasons when they fuck up. The soft ban would still keep the player numbers up, since most of them would just shrug laugh, and go play arams or troll normals, and stay the every loving fuck out of ranked.

Sorry if this is ranty, I am annoyed at how often this happens

I'm pretty sure it's already the case. For example, those those who leave the game are more severely punished when it's ranked. I'm not sure about the other offenses but i assume it's the case.

We all know that asshole who spams surrender votes and so on. I've seen quite a lot of game where we won even with a dude like that blowing his summs just to get attention, some people just can't get that sometimes they're gonna have to get carried, just report and don't forget to fill the little text box included :)
