Attention Riot and Everyone: I am starting to truly hate this game.

This game is really starting to suck. I started three years ago and it was a great way for me to be able to play games with my friends as we move farther away form each other. It had interesting characters and gameplay, a cool community (it seemed) and a budding pro scene.

But you know what? F*** THIS GAME! I only get to play once a week due to real life (yeah you heard of that you a**hat 13 year olds? Just wait! It's gonna sucker punch you in the face. Enjoy that!) so I'm not the best. But I try. I try to be patient. I have worked my way up to being comfortable doing normals and have even done some ranked 3v3s with my friends.

BUT THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY THIS GAME NEED TO GO SOAK THEIR HEAD! If your team politely suggests we ff at 25 minutes b/c we are 22 to 38, Varus and Brand are fed, and Volibear is unkillable THEN FRICKING SURRENDER! It's a waste of EFFING TIME TO KEEP PLAYING!!!!!

"But we can win!" Bullshit! Yeah if the enemy team suddenly becomes incompetent, and I can magically catch up in gold to buy another tank item or two then sure, we can win. BUT NOT FLIPPIN' LIKELY IS IT!?!

If I am suggesting a surrender its because I only get to play once a week, and if we surrender now, we can be in a new game in the next ten minutes. BUT NO NOT YOU JACKHOLE! NONONO! You want to drag this one out to 50 GODDAMN MINUTES just 'cuz you "might" win?! Bullshit.

And stop hiding behind the "Well you can just leave." You think I haven't thought of that genius? I'm surrendering to save precious time. Queue times aren't what they claim to be. If I surrender I hope to be in new game in 10 minutes. If I leave, then I get slapped with that 13 minutes our whatever penalty from Leavebuster, then add the ten minutes for finding the queue, someone dodging, finding a new one, going through the picks for some one to dodge again, etc. Seriously, took me 22 minutes to get into a Normal the other day. So with a leave buster penalty, queue times, I wont have saved any time from just playing the game.

Which would be fine, EXCEPT I DONT HAVE TIME! I have work in the morning. I have to get my daughter to daycare. I have to make sure my pregnant wife with morning sickness is ready to go to work before me. Then I have to get home and make dinner, and all the other adult shit that you little prepubescent dillberries don't need to worry about. I have one evening a WEEK allotted to being able to play games these days. That's maybe two and half hours if I'm lucky. I do not HAVE the time to waste because you "don't want to surrender". Pathetic.

SO HOW ABOUT EVERYONE IN THIS FRICKING GAME STOP WASTING MY GODDAMN TIME!

There Ive ranted. Probably get reported but I stopped caring. I've put more time and money into this game than any other in the last five years and I am truly starting to hate all of you and this game.

Play a different game this isn't really tailored to causal gamers who play 1 video game a week. I have been playing since 2010 or so and I can't stand anyone either, it's just how it is, dregs of society getting hot and mad and protecting their ego.

This is a game where you have to realize, people play to win, this is one of the most competitive games out there and people won't stop until the game is over. People like me don't surrender because it's possible to come back, albeit unlikely, but it's possible and I've done it multiple times. And on top of that, I also play to get better, and surrendering doesn't help with that either.

Personally I would recommend a short break from league, perhaps try out somethign different. Something that could keep you stimulated but help you wind down and relax for a bit. Being so stressed on a daily basis isn't good for your mind or your body.

Sure its your time but it also the others players time also. If they decide their time is worth spending trying to fight own, that is their choice. Might be irritating but that is how things work.

I am not sure when it was decided that your time trumps other people's choices? Pretty sure no one gave you that right/power. After all the people on your team did not choose to play with you. Your IRL issues mean nothing to them.

IF life is that hard on you right now; then it is time to play a single player game. When you can stop and start as needed.

This is going to sound nonconstructive... but I don't give a damn. I have seen SO MANY GAMES come back from deficits of 20 kills+. If you're going to give up as soon as the tides of this game go against you, please just uninstall. You should be here to have fun, gain experience, and enjoy a social game. I'll tell you what, nothing feels better than coming back from those hellish games and busting through that nexus...my god it's like an orgasm.

If you manage to drag the game out to 45-50 minutes, you actually do have a chance at winning. A completely unwinnable game shouldn't take that long.

Some of us have the opposite view. My best friend in particular gets irritated when he spends his time waiting to get into a game, and his team gives up at 20 minutes even when we have a reasonable chance at coming back. He may only have time for one game, and after sitting through queue (sometimes multiple times), and champ select, and 20 minutes of game time, he doesn't have time to start the process over. And while it doesn't happen to me as often, when it does I generally feel the same way. If I've got time to sit and play for an extended period of time, I will surrender and jump into the next game, but if I've only got time for one game, I'd sure like to actually play the game out.

For the record we both have two kids, significant others, jobs, and all the other bullshit you have to deal with, so it's not just teens without responsibility that feel that way.

Edit: Also, grab some sleep man. I'm sure you know having a kid already, but seriously, the second is going to be even more exhausting.

League of Legends is objectively the wrong game for someone in your RL situation to be playing.

I recommend something with short game times like Overwatch (quickplay) or CoD so you can get more individual games in during your limited time.

By the sound of your rant, it seems you not playing anymore seems to be the best solution.

I understand if you have other things to do, but that being said, if you don't have the time to commit to a match, don't become a burden to your team by queueing up.

I'd suggest a game with shorter rounds, Overwatch comes to mind.

sounds stressfull, however if a player belive that the game is still winable then its perfectly acceptable for them to click "no" on a surrender vote, blaming them for doing so is just nonsense tbh, it`s not their job to make sure the game fit best into your tight schedule.

i understand that it can be very frustrating, and i hope you got some steam out writeing this post.

Ever been on a team that throws a won game at the last minute? Everyone on the other team who won that game did not surrender. Teams throw. Let them.

we had an afk, and a troll teemo who queues as support and afk farmed the entire game. placing shrooms just to farm assists/kills. we won because our wukong was a badass

Funny he has a child & another child on the way? Why the hell would you announce your immaturity to us? (I wonder he probably got her pregnant @ 18 years old). Well dude you got A LOT of growing to do still if your complaining about limited time.

I for one if my career was going steady i wouldn't have the time to play any videogames & with wife kids next up, basically it's family NOT You anymore.

  • Yea Adulthood is easy as pie if your smart enough to mange your time.

  • Full-time job/benefits pretty much, so yea i can still fit some games in because I'm Flexible

Im also only on once a week, which means 5 or 6 games per week and a super slow time of climbing ranks. But I often like to take the other days to try and generate strats for my current OTPs

the sad part is, yeah, that's still winnable. at that point in the game, the gold difference compared to your lane partner isn't actually THAT HUGE. one proper bush gank, and two free turrets easy. people are right about this, don't give up so easy. you waited that long to get in right? and have played for this long? you should have tactics by now, or get outta the game please. i know, its just normals... but then whats stopping you from turning on your beast mode?

This game doesnt revolve around you. Games shouldnt be "stomp or surrender" just because u dont have time. Some players enjoy challenge of games where they are behind trying to catch up. Sone wanna stall game long enough for everyone gets full build. Nobody cares about your time. They dont play for you. Who are you yo them? Noone. Just that 1 in tens of millions of players.

I think the league atmosphere and dynamic que really cause this issue especially in ranked. Until you reach high diamond games are constantly thrown (aka you shouldn't ff) and if the game goes to 50 minutes the gold should be even and then its anyones game. I would suggest finding a new game though because with dynamic que people seem to be very frustrated during game and honestly the sheer number of trolls isnt worth it anymore

I know this is kinda over done, but I would recommend Overwatch for you.

Non-ranked games are like max 10 minutes, and stomps are about 5 minutes, so it you can play several matches in a short time, and never have to worry if you have really bad teammates, because you can leave whenever in normals.

I would guess it would be a much better game for someone with limited time than League, where you have to commit 45 minutes at least to start and play a game.
