14 day ban for being toxic 1 game no warning

I called my Jungler a %%% 2 times since it was the shortest insult i could think of in first 5-10 minutes of the game and then wrote about why the game was over 2-3 times and i went 0/8 which wasn't even an intentional feed...and i got a 14 day ban. I have no chance of climbing to gold since its the end of the season which is the only reason the ban seems unjust and truly bothers me. Why didn't i just get a huge chat restriction? was a 14 day ban truly necessary.....and also that game was the first time i've called someone a %%% in a very very long time from what i can remember...riot just give me a huge chat restriction or remove my chat box or something a 14 day ban isn't necessary as i'm not Inting or trying to make my teammates lose.
