Skipped 2 Week Ban For Permaban????

JUST TO CLARIFY THIS BAN HAPPENED LIKE 7 MONTHS AGO. I JUST NOW DECIDED TO SEE IF I COULD GET THE ACCOUNT BACK AND IF THE COMMUNITY SUPPORTED MY OPINION. FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN, I HAVE A FAIRLY UNPOPULAR OPINION REGARDING WHETHER I WAS DESERVING OF THIS BAN, SO THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE INPUT! I NOW BELIEVE THAT I WAS TRULY DESERVING OF THIS BAN. Hey guys, basically I want your opinions on this. I had a game where I was a pretty toxic jerk to be honest. I wouldn't have argued a 2 week suspension (in fact I would have defended it), but do you guys really think this deserved a straight permanent ban? (LET ME MAKE IT VERY CLEAR that I AM NOT defending this behavior, I am simply arguing it warranted a 2-week suspension, not a permanent ban). Also, note that I think the highest punishment my account had received prior to this was a 5 game chat suspension quite a few months before this happened. Riot Tantram plz notice me senpai. You know what's funny ? That all those "holy mothers Theresas" on this forum always downvotes anyone who gets punished here and tells you are deserved of punishment regardless of how severe it was. The guys are highly hypocrites when they speak about somebody being "toxic" as they enjoy themselves watching others to be banned. it fills their ego self righteousness as if they are better than others. Their attitude is toxic as hell while at the same time they are calling others toxic.

It feels good to know that toxic players have been removed from the community, just like it feels good to know that someone that broke into your house went to jail. That doesn't make me a bad person simply because I like to see justice prevail. Keep thinking that way if it makes you somehow feel justified in your actions though.

He's trying to argue that many people don't give players a chance, no matter how extreme the punishment is, just because they are seeking to fulfill this need for self-righteousness and so act as though they are superior beings.

It feels good to know that toxic players have been removed from the community, just like it feels good to know that someone that broke into your house went to jail. And how about those toxic player who trolls and provokes other to be frustrated. They aren't touchable because they troll or play ["play"] within RIOT rules - I tried this on my other account and it works well ! A big part of punished players are genuine not toxic in their behavior, they only got frustrated and expressed their feelings without even calling names. Others who got punished were not even toxic, they only tried to defend themselves or explain the situation, which was done in neutral way (yes, being truthful in this game means also being negative too). Anything what is not Positive, can be called being negative and therefore punishable.

I'm not talking about blatant toxicity, but enjoying punishments for others being neutral and picked out of context "negativity" means that you are toxic and hypocrite yourself since nobody is perfect. Some of those "holy mothers Theresas" even called trash on those who got punished.

Yeah but from what I've seen (especially since I only used it a couple times) that warrants skipping straight to 2 week. I've seen so many people use it and not even get any punishment at all. I just don't understand why I would be insta-permabanned when others aren't.

It was a very bad game for me, and things change. It's been a few months and I have gotten infinitely better. If I'm having a bad game I just /mute all and move on. (I play on another acct now obviously).

Try to contact Player Support they can lower the punishment to a 14 day Ban if you really didnt have any other Prior punishments

I did and they said all permabans are final. I was busy at the time so I left it as is, and recently created a new ticket hoping to pursue more deeply and all they said is that they responded to the issue in a prior ticket.

You might've already received a 2 week ban before at some point. If you were being explicit toxic for the games you were playing, receiving numerous reports, you would've stayed at Permanent Ban punishment status.

Well, then I would imagine you invoked the 0 tolerance policy for hate speech.

Retarded and degenerate can be considered hate speech against a particular group of people.

You also suggest afk for some time by reading the chat, but I don't know for sure.

I don't afk, I (USED TO) just run my mouth and dig my hole deeper and deeper (It's a problem that I used to have. Now I just /mute all and typically don't talk in chat anymore). Thanks for the input! From what I'm seeing, you hold the popular opinion. Due to this, I think my ban was definitely justified given that the system is to uphold the views of the majority of the community. Thanks again for providing your input, and I'm sorry if you were offended by what I said. I really do regret it. Have a nice day :)

I never understand why people think they aren't as bad as they are. That seems awful to play with. You could have killed a guy but didn't...no one cares.

Please explain to me what I said that indicated that I believed I wasn't being bad. I clearly stated that I think I was toxic and deserved punishment, but skipping a two-week ban straight to permaban seemed extreme.

I said you think you deserve a lesser punishment. Why? Because you thought you deserve a 2-week ban first? Its their system. And your actions were obnoxious. No one wants to play with a person that speaks like you do. It's a game and you don't seem to be capable of understanding what is appropriate when things don't go according to plan.

You seem to be missing my point. Their system typically provides a 2-week ban before perma-ban. I feel if I was given this opportunity to reform that I could have changed my ways and saved my account. If you disagree, that's fine. EDIT: I also want to point out that I have said many times that I believe I behaved INAPPROPRIATELY. So, I'm not sure where you are drawing your argument from.
