he plays like a npc/bot just running around not responding to the team chat. he was build more attack speed and the 1st gank @22mins was lost in bot. the dude trolled my promotion to s1
It means just that, he is unranked, he hasn't completed placements so he has no rank yet.
It sucks, I think it needs to be changed, but until then it's something we have to deal with. It gets worse if you aren't playing Solo/Duo on SR.
I started playing LOL about 9 months ago and started ranked in Twisted Treeline about 3 weeks ago and got placed B3 (I know there is no way I am an outstanding player; when I play normals with my friend who is gold in solo/duo I'm the worst player on my team, but regardless I'm still learning and trying my best), I have faced people who are unranked in TT while being ranked PLATINUM 2 in Solo/Duo. Needless to say, we lost that game REAL bad. But yeah the unranked matchmaking system is not good, but there doesn't seem like there is any concrete way to fix it, you know?
He has a Silver 4 MMR. That puts him generally in your bracket.
That MMR may not accurately reflect his true skill level, but hey, the system can only use the information provided to it. That's a newer player, or at least a newer account, with few actual games played.
