Leaverbuster is a flawed system

My computer crashed in a ranked game with my friends. full shutdown, had to let it cool off etc. It was our last one, and they won the game anyways. So now were trying to play some games, and i find out I'm in "leaverbuster". alright, doesn't seem too bad. ten minute wait. so i close out of it like i would any other extra wait time like queue dodging, thinking it'll still tick down like normal. And to my surprise it isn't, which isn't that bad. BUT IT ALSO RESETS. Now i get it's supposed to be a "punishment", but when my friend who doesn't know this ends up doing the same thing. and than the next friend. we end up having to wait 15 minutes just to get into a game. simply because of a computer crash. not only can te system not recognize true dcs. not ticking down when the timers not onscreen just irritates others.

I dont understand how Leave Buster is flawed, when the post (at least how you write it) makes it seem like you guys are at fault. You guys obviously didnt know that the time limit reset which should be common knowledge at this point. Let alone the fact that you leaving one game doesnt trigger the Leave Buster. you need to leave not only a lot of games, but consistently leave your games, so this obviously wasnt just some one time thing.

I would suggest to get a new/better computer before playing again, or at least have some way so that your computer doesnt overheat!

Sounds moar like the real issue is your computer is a flawed system. Did you check if it has a 'made in Canada' sticker on it?

Yeah it is in part my fault true. And no, i do not leave games often. My real point i guess( i was kinda frustrated when i made my post) is that why is the timer different than every other timer? why not with some consistency. it seems it designed that way simply so you will have to wait more time
