Hi, I am a player in LoL (obviously) and wanted to mention something really important. As you know, there is a lot of ways to be banned from several games and one of them is being "AFK". However, being "AFK" can sometimes be out of the player's control. First problem coming to our minds is bad internet connection, this may 'cause the player to not be able to move/play and that leads to being "AFK". I had this problem and maybe a lot of us had it too. I don't just wanna leave you guys with a problem so I had an idea about how to stop these bans that are because of being "AFK" which is out of the player's control.

CHECK: You can Ctrl+Ms and show that you have a problem with your internet. I know LoL can't just check your internet connection but can check the game chat if its allowed by the player having the problem. There can be a way for the player -having the problem- to mention that the ban was out of his control. So when the game mentions that the player was banned from several games there should be a button called "OOC (Out Of Control) near the "OK" button. So the player can get help if it was out of his control. The reasons can be:

  • Bad Internet Connection
  • Error These are the reasons i came up with and there can be more.

There can be trollers who may use this for a way of "fun" and mislead the purpose of this. They can be the ones who are actually banned because of a valid reason. So with this new thing coming up players can be mentioned of it so they will be aware of that they have to leave proof to show the reason.

whether its intentional or not no one wants to play a 4v5. life is life and sometimes you will have to abandon/afk games but when it gets out of control and you start afking/leaving 2 or 3 games in a day actions need to be taken.

I don't quite understand... what is that last part? Can you try to word it differently? I can't quite make sense of "so with this new thing coming up players can be mentioned of it..."

I don't know if that has to do with how troll players can abuse a system like this. Not even trolls, just anyone who wants to get away with afk. People can throttle their connection and artificially manipulate their ping.

Here's the thing, the first afk doesnt ban you, neoither does the second, or the 3rd. to hit low priority que you have to be leaving games consistently. then you get 5 minute low priority, then if you keep doing it THEN you get 20 min low priority. before a ban is ever issued.

So the excuses that have been made before same ones you're making now, hold water about as well as a cup with holes in the bottom.

The game can easily tell if you afk was intentional or not. There are two programs running when you are in game, so if the dc was not intentional riot would see that you lost connection to both the game and the launcher at the same time (They would be stupid not to have logs for this). If not then you it means you left intentionally and should be punished. Though if you end task both programs (starting with the launcher) it would look like connection issues and you might be able to get away with a couple more dcs then you normally would (I should really not give ideas to people).
