The link above was me calling jungle before the player that sparked the mass report for me. He said he called jungle first, and i see now that the screenshot is limited, but that is besides the point. As you can see, i have done nothing worthy of a report, for the match details, i can list them in the second link, here: https://gyazo.com/fb4cba1b8af580ad956490a630c8517f Sure, i admit, i did really bad. But i can guarantee it wasn't intentional. late in the game, the lucian triggered a bombplants while i was on them just so he could see me die. He even stated this after it happened. I really am disappointed, as i feel like they just used a bot to read the chat, when in this case, key words were stated by me, but not used in a toxic way. I really hope you guys read this.

So first off, Blind Pick is the wild fucking west. Calling lanes is a conventional means of choosing roles, but there's no actual rules backing that up, so if somebody decides not to follow convention, you have no recourse. You have my sympathy for people fucking you over in Blind, but ultimately the solution is to abandon that shitty game mode. Stick to draft.

Secondly, while it's not strictly fair, you did break the letter of the law in these chat logs. By continually engaging in a pointless argument with your teammates, you distracted from the game at hand and hurt morale. That is, strictly speaking, an abuse of the chat system, for which the typical punishment (with some leniency) would be a chat restriction. I assume you've had at least a couple chat restrictions before, which caused this to escalate to a ban.

Your odds aren't good at all, but you might plead your case in a support ticket and ask for a chat restriction again.

Can you guide me on how to do that? never really done it before Im fine with a chat restriction, i just dont want my money to go to waste for something messed up like last time and also, the warwick that said he and his buddies would report me got banned as well so,,,,

It doesn't matter if the Warwick and all of his friends reported you, or if only one of them did. Mass reports do not mean anything. They carry no more weight than a single report. The system is designed such that every report is reviewed by the Instant Feedback System, so there is never a need to call for extra reports, and having more than one does not increase the value of the report.

From the Instant Feedback System FAQs:

PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH:

  • First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction
  • Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction
  • Third Offense: Two Week Suspension
  • Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

This is how it generally works, which is why we ask if you've had prior punishments on the account. Typically, these logs would not have bumped you up to the level of a permaban. But, if you had already served a prior 14 day suspension, any further rule breaking would have caused a permaban.

To submit a ticket to Player Support appealing your ban, you would need to go here and select the request type for "I have a question about a suspension or restriction on my account." Fill in all the information that the ticket asks for, and try to be as polite as possible. I know it's a very frustrating situation, and it's really tempting to want to snap at Riot and demand that they "fix this now!" but yelling at the Support Specialist is definitely not a way to encourage them to work with you. Try to explain the situation as clearly as possible, and ask if there is anything that can be done to reduce the penalty on your account. It may take them 24-48 hours to reply to your ticket, depending on how many tickets they have at the moment, but try to be patient. Don't bump your ticket with additional information unless it's absolutely necessary, as that will drop it to the end of their queue.

although this is grounds for punishment, I disagree that this was banworthy. imo this dosent look like it should be more then a 10 game chat restriction. you should open a support ticket and plead your case with a rioter.

just you better hope these logs aren't fake, because support has the real ones if it is, and a certain someone we know may come and summoner 11

I do not know the ins and outs of what happened, but I can tell that sometime when it is very closely matched, it is possible not to see the actual order of who picked first. For this case, I honestly can't tell what happened, but you might have called second.

You were very argumentative. The fact is that you have had a 14-day ban recently, so the next penalty of any sort would be a perma-ban. So the question you should be asking is if it is worthy of a chat restriction. I believe it is. Therefore, it is escalated to a permanent ban.

i dont know what he edited, but if it isnt too bad, i think he doesnt deserve a penalty. we all know how annoying some players can be, as he described, and it should have been taken in consideration.

i am nor gonna lie, i already got perm banned on another account, and the final penalty was also something like this case. i was really sad that context is not taken in consideration (as a riot player behavior member told me). the penalties i got before the final strike i did deserve.

I have a serious problem with the idea that telling people they're wrong is deserving of a punishment on its own. I get that in this case the person edited their logs and got all the way to a 14 day ban before hand and thus should be on thin ice and so this may well be deserved.

But in general I've seen it become more and more a thing that Riot takes issue with someone merely having a lot of chat lines in a game and arguing with their team, which I feel is often a step too far. If the system had some kind of "hey, knock it off, here's a warning" that was in fact just a warning, it might be ok, but it doesn't. A chat restriction is very much a punishment, especially with the honor level system and even the first chat restriction knocking you to level 0.

Hey Chris (I think), I notice that you look into depth into ban cases, and in 99-100% of cases you prove that said banned person is toxic, however I have submitted many tickets to riot to manually look into my account that got permanent banned and they always declined. I don't believe that my account (DarcyTheFrog on OCE) is worthy of a permanent ban, esp after playing for 4 years, there's bound to be a couple of toxic games and I'm sorry for that, but I only ever received one warning and that was because I used the very bad (kys) word. I don't mind if you don't have the time, because I'm almost resigned to the fact that my ~$400 account is lost, I'd just like 1 manual look into it if that's ok. Anyway, thanks for your time. Well, "kys" falls into their zero tolerance that usually escalates to an immediate 14 day ban. Then you fall into the same category as OP in that something worth a chat restrict would result in a perm ban instead. Sorry my med evac helicopter comrade.

TBH league should just remove their bot banners and hire people to look over it themselves because bots are a lot worse than a normal person doing this. and it could offer more jobs which is a good thing.

The amount of people they would need for that would probably bankrupt them. I don't know the exact number the Tribunal used but it fell behind though with thousands of volunteers.

Lol I feel like you were convinced by some media that it's all about job creation for our economy, so now everytime you think something would create more jobs, it's automatically a good thing.

well yes actually because think about it if you could offer probably only 250 people, try to find a way to cut a loop in the system for lower than minimum wage and they have to supply themselves with their own pcs and could just work from home. i think it would be amazing to be able to say i work for riot games. (maybe not in the way others think but hey it works) xD

Plausible, if it paid based on a review basis.

There was once a texting service that would answer questions when texted (kgbkgb and chacha). I had managed to get with one and they paid on a per message response basis. Basically I could sign in, go live and when a question was directed towards me (because there is a step before where another assigns a proper category.) I had to try and answer it as quickly as possible. Pay ranged from $0.10 to $0.30 per question answered. The ones who labeled questions (because I transferred to that at one point made .03-.05 per message (they usually got more traffic). Got to work when I wanted but also had no motivation to work more (granted I was in high school).

But if that how it is being set up, paid on review basis, then it may run into the same problem as Tribunal when it gave ip/rp (whichever it did). Where people may just use a bot to select. Even if a minimum review time was established.

Granted, this is only if they keep it in the U.S. Unless paid on basis (per review), either State or Federal minimum wage must be paid (yes, can vary).

You typed about 100 lines that is way too many things to say during a game where you're supposed to be focused on what's happening.

I know blind pick is awful, but there is no rule about "i called it first", you can take any off meta champions and go to any lane you want, even if there is already somebody in that lane, and even if someone called it first it's not forbidden.

I'd suggest you to always queue for draft pick in the future, and don't type that many lines it's pointless and it won't help you win the game.
