How is calling someone "entitled" ban worthy?

If someone can't handle being called "entitled" of all things, then they clearly are not mentally mature enough to play this game yet. I'm calling out a clear abuse of power on the person that board banned my primary account. My account was even flagged in the past for calling someone "kid", that is a common term many gamers use across many games.

Sure, my account hasn't been the friendliest lately, but this game is rated T not E according to the game's ESRB rating. If people want buttered up words they should be playing a "My Little Pony" game not this.

So to anyone that has control over deciding if a flag has merit, get the stick out of your bums and let words like "kid" and "entitled" through because there is nothing life threatening about such words when referring to other players.

Have a nice day.

The game is rated T for content. It is rated T because cursing is allowed. It is not rated T because there is an expectation that you will be exposed to a certain amount of abuse by other players: the expectation (and in fact the enforced state) is that other players will not abuse you.

That is the important distinction.

I'm going to second the call for your chat logs, but would also like to address this:

"Life threatening" is not and never will be the yardstick for whether or not something is toxic. That definition comes from the community itself as the IFS adapts to what people choose to report (or not report, as the case may be). Interestingly enough, as recently as a year ago, "KYS" was given a low rating by the IFS, but now it triggers a ban pretty quickly.

It is annoying to be called kid when playing a tense game.

because there is nothing life threatening about such words when referring to other players.

If the best thing about what you said is that it isn't life threatening, it would seem that nothing of value was lost by banning you from the boards.

No chat logs? How can we sympathise with you if you show us no proof?
