Perm Banned for Calling Somebody a Noob???

I recently disconnected during a game due to a bad connection.. I came back and the whole team was flaming me.. and I told someone they were a hardstuck noob and got permanently banned instantly after the game without any review???

everything i said here was literally just a response to teammates flaming me in all chat and normal chat.. the other team even agreed with me that my team was being toxic and was going to report them for claiming i was inting.

the thing i dont understand is this account is only like a month old and i dont understand why i wouldnt be chat banned or something before a permanent ban. i understand i was mean to the bard, but he was the one talking shit first, and i called him a noob ffs. this has to be some kind of error and id like my account back please.

this was an abuse of the IFS system. the morgana in the game even said "if we all report this guy he will be banned 100%" after saying "why even come back, 9x report him" when i got back from my bugsplat dc

i realize it was not good behavior but i think the system made an error by issuing me a permanent ban instantly for that. it obviously wasnt reviewed by anybody.

The punishment volcano doesn't work like that. You don't get worse and worse punishments for being increasingly toxic. You get worse and worse punishments because continuing to be toxic indicates an unwillingness to change.

thats all good and nice but you cant base an analysis of somebodies behavior from a sample size of one game. i have never been banned on my main account which has played over 20 thousand matches of league. for you to assume im toxic because i fought fire with fire is false. this is how 80% of players would react to being flamed. only about 20 percent of players actually mute people when they said they do.

And thus the mystery was solved.

You were warned during that 2 week ban that continued negative behavior would result in a permanent suspension. Within a couple days and no more than 25 or so games after coming back from that ban, you were back to being negative and harassing others.

Because punishments are based solely on each individual's toxic history. Your friend may had a clean record and have never been punished before this, while you on the other hand, just came off of a 14-day ban. Punishments is not just based on the few samples they sent you, but also based on your account history of toxicity.

There is no justification to respond to anything negative that is said or done in game

If you respond you deserve the same punishments.

the best way to handle anything that happens in the game you don't like is to mute and or ignore it .

then if its a legitimate offence privately and quietly report it at the end of the game

How is pointing out factual statistics considered toxic/harassment? Thats absolutely ridiculous, and how in any way would that be the "high point"? That has nothing to do with why he was banned.

If I were to go to someone and continually tell them how short they are and tell them they're too short, it's harassment. Simply being a fact (in reality judging performance is an opinion) does not mean it is not harassment.

To claim that it was a "high point" in regards to this guys ban is simply not true however. It had virtually nothing to do with why he was punished, the IFS isn't banning people for stats/numbers.

The IFS can when it is obviously being used as a weapon to flame. Even if it is fact, social etiquette teaches us certain "facts" should not be spoken out loud if it will shame the person. The same etiquette should apply to any social interaction (and this game sort of is).

If someone is overweight, it is an obvious fact as defined by the BMI. But you are not going to say that out loud in public will you?

No, the IFS can't. It does not and cannot ban people for stating numbers. It has no way of knowing what the numbers actually mean.

Both of us are speculating as to what the IFS can and cannot do. The fact is that he did get punished by the IFS for this log. However, as a human review of this chat log, I have to agree with the punishment because he really does use the stats as a weapon to flame. There's a difference between plainly stating facts and intentionally using them to shame people.

you pointed out some statistical facts, how toxic of you! definitely harassment! i mean, if someone pointed out to me that i only own one listed company and it's market cap is only worth a few hundred million HKD, i would feel so harassed. after all, they must be trying to shame me - look at all the billionaires who own multiple listcos
