New Automated System Ban Wave?

I'm here to speak to you of an important issue. The faulty automated system. This case did not happen to me. It happened to my boyfriend. Today after dinner we were about to start our usual evening game. He logged in and his account had been banned ( ???? ) It said to check his email, he did, and it said he used third party programs, well the thing is, he didn't use any cheat. Yesterday he played Thresh, and he kept landing his hooks, enemy Varus was mad because he kept being caught, and he said, in all chat, that he was going to report him for cheats. I was like, " lel, look at that you are landing so many hooks he thinks you are a scripter " of course we didn't gave it any thought at all, until today. Apparently the faulty automated system banned him, we are not sure if the other team reported him under false accusations or not. He already send a ticket to Riot and is waiting their response, which, from other forum threads I've seen, won't be favourable, even though he did nothing wrong. This bothers me, and should bother all of our community because this could happen TO ANY OF US! We, the players, we make League of Legends what it is today, and Riot simply stopped caring about us. I thought they would respect us more, we put money and effort into this game and for what? For faulty bans? Funny thing is, the flamers are already there, but we, the innocents get banned. I know he will probably get a computer generated response and this won't be good for anything. But I hope they may read this and reconsider their system and start thinking about their players. Thank you guys

3RD party program bans are typically done in ban waves. that last game he played likely wasn't the trigger, but it may have been games dated a while back.

If the account was not banned for 3rd party then it was banned/punished for most likely toxicity ban although it could be a chargeback ban(which is temporary until the issue is resolved)

If the ban was for toxicity then the user was either repeatedly toxic across several games or extrememly toxic over a few games(could be 1) or .00001% chance false reporting triggered(very unlikely imo)

Best call is to deal with support they'll explain what they can best of luck
