I got a 14 day ban in season 7 and finished the season plat 4.Preaseason reached plat 3.After the soft reset (i got no rewards)i cannot duo queue with any of my plat/gold friends and i am shown as unranked. What is going on? anyone knows?
RiotRiot Tantram7 votesYou'll need to work your way back up to gold to duo with plat friends.
WashedUp MΙD1 votesBut i was plat, did i lose my mmr or smth ?thank u for your time btw.
RiotRiot Tantram5 votesYou lost your previous season rating. So you will have to get your current season rating to within the appropriate range.
WashedUp MΙD4 votesI see.I get it now.Thank u for your time again.
Eedat5 votesDo you actually lose your MMR for getting banned? Thats would seem quite problematic considering the people who are really getting punished more are the lower ELO players that have to play against them
Ashtro3 votes^?
Mig891 votesTheres rank decay in plat I think. Its not that you lose MMR for being banned specifically but I think just by virtue of not playing you might drop but I could be wrong. Im prttty sure decay doesnt drop you from plat, it just puts you plat 5 0LP but I could be wrong
Eedat1 votesYour rank will decay but your MMR will not
AJStarhiker1 votesHave you finished your 10 placement games yet? You need to finish new placements every season.
Telephone Booth1 votesDid you even do your placements?
WashedUp MΙD1 votesNo not yet.But i should be able to duo with a plat player since i was plat right ?

Honestly, yeah I thought you would be able to but that has to be why. Because right now, youre technically unranked.
WashedUp MΙD1 votesyeah i get it now thanks for the help.
Teslyn1 votesSounds like spaghetti code, but to take your rewards away they drop you under gold. get your MMR to plat and off you go with your buddies.
