Cannot duo S8 after getting banned in s7

I got a 14 day ban in season 7 and finished the season plat 4.Preaseason reached plat 3.After the soft reset (i got no rewards)i cannot duo queue with any of my plat/gold friends and i am shown as unranked.What is going on? anyone knows?

You'll need to work your way back up to gold to duo with plat friends.

Have you finished your 10 placement games yet? You need to finish new placements every season.
