Chat

In regards too Tyler1 ban. I think riot should remove chat and the reporting system all together, both teams can communicate through pings in the game. Chat has always been used for negative emotions rather then positive ones. Eliminate the cancer which is chat. Riot already has a penalty system which works well for afk players, they could certainly add feeding players too this list.

For as much toxicity that is seen due to chat, it is a necessary part of the game. Pings can do a lot, but not everything. Communicating your exact intentions with your teammates can sometimes make or break a game. The problem comes when people think they can use it to put down anyone in their way.

I highly disagree with this, if people don't want to see anything negative, just mute, also, the chat is used a lot for things besides arguing, telling people to use an ult only after you ult, letting your teammates know you don't have smite for a certain amount of time, and more, so I honestly think this would be a horrible idea.

While I may agree removing the chat would help solve a majority of the issues in the game, this would then require Riot to have to completely revamp timers and how everyone communicates on a norm, as to remove it right now would hurt people and make it insanely difficult to discuss whether someone is 'coming to ward', 'coming to pressure', or 'traversing lanes'. And to spam pings doesn't help that matter either.

Not a chance. After all, how would I taunt my opponents with Dunkmaster Darius without it?
