Seriously for Gold and below ELO there is no reason at all for not preventing players on block lists from being match with the players whom blocked them. That would make the game more enjoyable for 90% of all players. The queues might increase by 30seconds or so, but boy would it be worth it.
Inb4 higher elo players whine about not being matched.
It just creates a bad precedent of being able to blacklist players. I'm not for this because of possible abuse.

Too easy to abuse. Im going to block every diamond and plat in blind pick so I dont have to go vs hard opponents anymore. Or im just going to go on with 4 friends and block everyone in every game and screw up the queue.
I've been thinking and at least we should receive a warning in champ select that we've been matched with somebody on our block list so we can choose to dodge and take the penalty. I'm sure this happens in higher elo where everybody knows each other anyhow.
