I am new and received a ban for intentionally feeding. this is bogus. I didn't feed intentionally and all my teammates besides V3LV did nothing but talk shit about me being a smurf and feeding. I AM NEW, god forbid I play bad, being NEW TO THE GAME AND ALL! I have a gme in my history where I actually did feed because me and V3LV were the only ones playing on my team, so we gave them the easy win to end. Y didn't I get banned from that? because no one reported me, do you guys just an everyone who ever gets reported? I have to say, I have played Smite for years and never once experienced some bulgruff like this. do your jobs and help the new people learn the damn game before you ban them on a game they went 2/5. I bet ALLISTAR didn't get banned, and he did worse than me. UNBAN me now or it will forever be known you guys just ban people without properly looking into what had happened. and if you need to ban someone, ban wonkyNL for abusive language and grieffing. THANK YOU

You won't know whether it works or not, because the feedback system is inconsistent on purpose to prevent harvesting of data on how to get others punished.

And you won't be able to tell if they are punished most of the time, because chat restrictions won't be reflected in any information that is publicly visible, and if you friend them to ask directly they will be motivated to lie in order to try to upset you further.

tldr; there's no way to tell if a specific player gets punished or not. But Riot assures us that they do, and judging from how many people come here complaining about their punishments, it seems that Riot does punish them.

or hit tab, and there is 3 buttons on the right side of their box that will allow you to mute the person.

Why would other people's chat logs matter with regards to your own punishment? You are punished if your own behavior breaks the rules, not if other peoples' behavior does or does not.

Other people can be punished for their own behavior as well, and if you reported them then they likely will be.

Being wronged does not give you a free pass to break the rules and do things that ruin the game for other players. There are 8 other people in that game besides you and the player you argued with. Those 8 players deserve to have a fair match where everyone tries their best to compete. You have no right to further ruin the game for those 8 players just because of having been wronged by a single other player in that game.

Your teammate's chat is irrelevant to your behavior. You are not punished for other player's chat/behavior, you're punished for your own.

If you reported the players who were being toxic to you, they would almost certainly have been punished, if not flagged. Regardless, you still AFK'ed and tried to evade punishment, which, on top of the Vayne game, amounts to one account of intentional feeding, and one of assisting the enemy team and attempted punishment evasion.

Your team is irrelevant when it comes to your attitude. Your team doesn't force your hands, they're not there physically making you type. You CHOSE to type and be toxic. If your team is toxic to you, you mute them. No excuse. None. Nada. So yea, your claim is irrelevant, and if this is your official attitude, you're not welcome here.

Find a new game. The community doesn't tolerate toxic players.

Huh. Your endgame stats don't scream intentional feeding, and 2/8/1 isn't an unreasonable score for a bad game.

That said, I wonder if your ban message referenced the wrong game. The very next game, you have a 0/15/0 as Vayne, which is significantly more suspicious (like, not getting any assists and that many deaths is extremely hard). That's over a death a minute, and you didn't buy a single item after leaving the platform the first time.

Actually, now that I look again, you killed a whopping SIX MINIONS in that Vayne game. Not a single one after the 4 minute mark.

I changed my mind. You intentionally fed. Your prior games show that you generally know the basics of playing. Don't even try to deny it.

I kno the basics of the game, doesn't make me a god player though. I'm only lvl 16 now and when you play against lvl 30 players you get wrecked. That vayne game I did feed because half my team wasn't playing and I wanted the game to end. no one had a problem with that game

Your ban was entirely deserved, and if you think you're going to get a lick of sympathy here after trying to mislead us by playing ignorant, you're outta your damn mind.

After that 14 day ban is over, I suggest not trying another stunt like that if you want to keep your account. Do not queue up for a game unless you intend to play it out to its conclusion, win or lose. Intentional feeding is one of the most dishonorable things you can do here.

You have no way of knowing who reported you. The enemy team probably saw you feeding kills botlane and reported you afterwards.

Let me let you in on a little secret - intentional feeding reports are reviewed by a human. It is very likely they just copy/pasted the wrong game in there, because you ABSOLUTELY DID int in that 0/15 Vayne game.

You're welcome to "dispute" whatever you want, but when you get ahold of a Rioter, they're going to tell you exactly what I just did - you inted, and you had your ban coming.

Worst I'd have done is bail out, to be honest. Unless you make a habit of it, the punishment amounts to a slap on the wrist.

Maybe nobody on your team (as you said it was just you and Udyr), but don't you think the enemy team would have an issue with you intentionally feeding? There's more than just your team, y'know.

Having AFK's doesn't excuse you from breaking the rules. Having AFK's absolutely doesn't excuse you from intentionally feeding.

Basically: Yes. Even if your entire team is AFK, you are obligated to play to the best of your abilities. You are not allowed to intentionally feed to hasten the match, nor are you allowed to open a lane, or quit yourself. The game ends (and your expectation to participate ends) when one of the following happens:

  • Your team's Nexus is destroyed.
  • Your team Surrenders.
  • Your enemy's Nexus is destroyed.
  • Your enemy Surrenders.

Until one of those four things happen, you must keep playing. Sorry if you don't like that fact, but, them's the 8r8ks.

Regardless of your intentions or if you felt like it was justified that's called intentional feeding. Even your Annie game is highly suspect when you look into it since it looks like you just gave up at around 18 min.

You stopped CS'ing, you stopped participating in fights, and you stopped buying items. You may not have intentionally started running into the enemy team that game but the result is the same, you were intentionally gimping your team.

I don't know what the behavioral rules are in Smite but in league you're obligated to keep trying until the game ends.

In the Vayne game it's pretty clear you were intentionally feeding the enemy. Your argument is that you did it to end the game faster but that doesn't stop it from being intentionally feeding.

Each person is responsible for their own behavior. This isn't a zero-sum game when it comes to punishments. If they were harassing you in chat and you reported them for that then they could be held responsible for their behavior. But that wouldn't stop you for being held responsible for your own decisions.

You intentionally assisted the enemy team by making the decision to no longer help your team.

Well, go play Smite or Fortnite. Clearly League isn't for you . People taking your cs in a low ranked soloq game is nothing new. I stopped getting angry about it long ago (except an amumu last night who hit my lane just to take my cannon as I was coming back to lane.)
