Probably any Rioter that reads this is going to stop after reading "I want". I wish there was some better way to structure my message, but being angry right now I don't see any.
I want option "don't put me on a team with a duo Q". Let me explain why. I played 3 ranked games today. I'm not sure about the 1st, because at that point I wasn't paying attention to who was on my team, just wanted to start another one as soon as possible. But 2nd game had 2 players duo Q, so we got 1200+4x1400 vs 5x1400. Needless to say that 1200 player was very bad (he had a lot of games played on his account so he was not a smurf, just a 1200 player). We lost.
Next game I get 2x duo Q. This time it's 3x1300 + 2x1400 vs 5x1400. Where is fairness in that?
Why am I angry? I know WHY you guys boost duoQ players to about the same ELO as the higher player of the two, it makes sense if one of them is a smurf. But why allow them to ruin games when it's just 2 normal players? They just weaken their own team... This is broken. What is more important - gaming the system or FUN? Because I can tell you that getting a shorter stick like that is not fun at all.
You want players to duoQ, fine. Let them. But either let me NOT play with them by implementing opt-out option or allow your ELO to be gamed and DON'T artificially inflate ELO of that lower player.
Because, the way you guys do it, you make uneven games. Don't you? If matchmaker doesn't take average skill of the team but inflates ELO and assumes it's higher (when in fact, it's not, eg. player has that ELO since 500 games he played) for one of the players it's just making that team weaker.
Or at least please explain to me how is this better than allowing players to game ELO. I don't care who's top elo. There are no prices for that. I want fair games. This should be higher priority of the two. Am I wrong?
PS. If you guys want to go and check my games history this is related to my Wyvek account on EU servers. But no Rioters on EU forums
UPDATE: 4th lost ranked game. And again, we had duo Q, they didn't (or if they did, it was duoQ of similarly ranked players, we had uneven ranked players - and consequently the lowest ranked player in a game).
