REPORTING FEEDERS AND TROLLS WILL GET YOU BANNED!

After being banned for telling a series of trolling players they were being reported, this is the response from the agent "THE UNICORN" gave after being extremely rude and ignoring all logical explanation that they were trolling.

below is the transcript from the conversation I had about being banned with a duo that claimed to be plat/silver smurfs who after feeding their lane roamed to feed others.

"The Real Ender March 11, 2016 16:33

Truth be told I am sick and tired of getting punished for altering my behavior in game at the recommendation of your team members then getting banned for it later. this has happened multiple times on multiple accounts and I can assure you that this type of abuse of talented players whom also happen to be paying customers is beyond moronic. If feeding, toxic, and trolling players are allowed to report us for calling them out and ruining the win and preventing progression then why do you even bother with a ranked system of game play?

Why is their experience more important than mine? just because the feeders and trolls report the good players does not make their position right. I should not have to lose game after game after game to these types of players, nor should i be punished for telling them as much."

Hey again,

When you call for reports it does a few things. It can publicly humiliate the player (especially when you're constantly reminding your team throughout the game that you'll be reporting them). It encourages "witch hunting." Exposes others to the negativity. And asks Summoners to base their reports off of what you're saying instead of on how they are affected or feel about what's happening. Also saying you'll be reporting someone and calling for reports doesn't help the situation, doesn't help your team, and won't help you win the game.

These are some of the antagonizing comments you were making, (ignored, dang 0/3 diamond smurf vayne and the silver veigar reported feeding and trolling) , the behavior you're displaying in your games isn't improving the overall game play. When almost every comment made in game is contributing to the negative impact of the game you put the rest of your team in a negative mindset and can make your fellow Summoners not able to focus on the game.

It's your choice to take the advice I give and work to improve your behavior, however, if there's continued negativity we cannot ignore that. My goal here is to let you know what isn't okay and give you tips on how to mitigate that.

If you have any other questions or concerns, let me know.

SO DONT TRY TO IMPROVE THE GAME! THEY WILL BAN YOU FOR SPEAKING!

This comes straight from a member of the tribuinal. If you tell someone you are reporting them for trolling tehy will ban you for negativity in games.

the ticket was ended with this statement when I asked to be put in contact with her superior.

" The Unicorn Today at 16:20

Hey there,

Myself and my colleagues are the highest level of support you can achieve in a ticket. Since you've already been escalated to me, you're unable to be escalated any further. Aside from this, anyone else you speak to will only be able to reiterate what I've said. You're free to post this where you will, but be sure to remove your information to protect your privacy.

As there are no other questions or concerns, this ticket is closed.

The Unicorn Riot Player Support"

They claim to have no boss! this means that either she is a liar who is terrible at her job and is trying to cover it up, or that Riot lets their employees do what ever they want with zero regard for the improvement of the game and enables players to ruin games without consequence and even endorses their behavior by punishing those who call out the trolls.

a second ticket has been opened to request email contact with her boss. I will update as needed.

REPORTING FEEDERS AND TROLLS WILL GET YOU BANNED

Not it won't.

banned for telling a series of trolling players they were being reported

Ah, there it is. Using reports as a threat is what is punishable. In the best case scenario it doesn't help anyone, and more likely it just makes them perform worse or troll harder.

When she says there is no higher level to escalate the ticket, she means there are tiers of Player Support that handle different tickets. Most of them can be handled at the lowest level, and they basically only need to copy-paste responses and don't need to take account action. They only push the ticket to someone with more power/responsibility when necessary, and obviously your ticket was already at the final tier. Giving the ticket to someone else would not change the situation.

Dang, I don't know how she can make it more clear that what you said ingame was unacceptable with the passive / aggressive comments.

I wished one day they can stop with the diplomatic correctness and just grill someone. Hard job to have in customer service.

You do realize that the Behavioral specialists are all bots, yes? Do you not see how generic the response they gave you was? They didn't even answer your question. I've had it happen to myself as well. It wasn't until I called them out on it that I got someone who was actually trying to answer my questions.

http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/e9f1eKV9-wish-they-could-explain-how-this-was-offensive-to-others-other-than-myself

Even if you don't agree with me, just look at the responses from all the behavioral specialists that tag teamed my ticket. This has been going on for the past month to me and still going. They were all saying the same thing as genericly as possible and even gave 3 answers for questions I never asked. But if you were too look for key words/phrases in the thing I was asking before those, you can see that IF it were a traditional question asked, it would have fit the bill. So when Unicorn says they can only reiterate what he said, it's not because they have to. It's because they're bots and unable to do anything other than what was already made for the cookie cutter responses they can give.

"The Unicorn" does have a boss, and I do know who it is, but I'm not going to tell you. If you're too dumb to learn after being TOLD what you're doing wrong, I can only imagine the emails you would send...

hei Riot a small question.

Sooo I got matchd in a ranked game with a person who went completely super troll. So I decided to report him just like evereyone else in the game and look into his match history. There I discovered that he did this in litterly every game. So now comes the questin. WHy the fuck did I get matchd up with him and why the fuck is he still playing on that account?

People like you are the reason why people troll.

Naramiel3/22/2016, 2:46:47 PM1 votes

To be fair, I've never been able to find any place on Riot's website where they say that telling someone you're reporting them, or even asking others to report someone, is an offense. Given that it's just "information you can pick up on the forums", and is not something 100% of people would intuit, it seems a little alarming to ban someone solely for that.

I guess someone should call him.. The Account Ender

There's not much to work with here, what do ya want?

Linthe3/22/2016, 3:31:11 PM1 votes

Errrr.. no..

Reporting trolls and feeders does NOT get you banned...

REQUESTING in game that OTHERS report feed and trolls MAY get you banned..

If they are trolling or feeding, just report and move on.. Your job is done.

1 report in a game has the same weight as 9 reports in a game. So calling for others to report is unnecessary.

Trollo Swaggins3/21/2016, 9:52:20 PM

A side note, all trolls and feeders are ignored as their offense happens.

I am in the process of uploading my last 30 or so recorded games to demonstrate my behavior patterns are in line with the tribunal given advice of "ignore players, dont stoop to their level" yet informing them of their offense and why they are being reported which offers them feedback and a chance to change their behavior is considered BANNABLE! sweet logic riot. rofl

"help players, but dont type anything or we will ban you. If a player is trolling compliment them on how well they are throwing the game or we will ban you for being negative." -Riot-
