Excessive use of pings
Can we make it so you can mute a players excessive pinging? Its really obnoxious and unpleasant to the ears and eyes when someone keeps on pinging throughout the whole game every chance they get.

You can mute all pings but not individual pings, unfortunately. And it doesn't hide the visual. I guess if they're pinging and they're wrong then they're making a fool of themselves and it's kinda funny, but that's not a great solution.
i had a player does this all game to be toxic and abusive because they were already on a chat restriction. it was annoying. he was so busy spaming pings to try to harass and be annoying he played really bad and died alot. then i reported him for spamming pings and feeding
Yeah this is one of the most annoying things someone can do, even worse than flaming. They start pinging the enemy before the game even really starts and every time they think you should have made a move or if you made a mistake they'll start pinging ? enemy missing ping over and over, these people are super annoying.
Then, they start pinging enemies that you are already attacking just so they can blame you if things go wrong "I PINGED YOU NOOB" well "I was already attacking them and you were pinging them excessively instead of attacking them you 'nub'". I've even seen it go far as to see people who are pinging wildly instead of actually attacking or trying to escape so they can instantly blame someone else when they die or lose a kill.
There's no reasoning with these type of people I ask them 'only ping once for each occasion' or 'please don't ping enemies we're already attacking it's just distracting' and I get flamed in response, I've reported many of these people for abusing a feature that's meant to promote teamwork instead to harass their own team.
Sometimes players need to communicate with other people, you can just turn off your ping volume to see if it helps i know it sucks. But tbh they need some sort of way to communicate.I know it sucks. :(
