Why not a chat restriction?

So my account has been banned for 14 days right away with no warning because of what I have said in a game. I was reported and banned for saying "%%%it". The game was just a joke, everyone was messing around and I even heard one guy say that being gay is bad but it was obviously a joke. I dont think that what I have said in my game should really give me a 14 day suspension because of how this is my first time ever committing this offense and how it wasn't even that big a deal compared to what others have said in my previous games. I know people who all say kys but they only get chat restricted but when I say "%%%it" (as a joke, not trying to be rude to gays) I get a 14 day suspension. How is it okay to tell someone to kill themselves and only get chat restricted while I get a 14 day suspension for saying something not as serious? Please riot look into this and change it or something. If someone who tells another man to kys get chat restricted, I believe I should just be chat restricted aswell.

CASE CLOSED: I understand what I did and I'll just wait the days out and not do it again. Sorry for my behavior

the report system works fine for people who are mature and non toxic.

op you can put in a support ticket but i think the chances of anything changing is slim at best,

Depends where you were in the penalty tier, they could also have given you a escalated punishment

"joking" is not a defense for breaking RIOTS rules of conduct.

The worst thing that I have ever committed in this game was leaving the game due to terrible internet, other than that I have done nothing else

Solipland I honestly think that the punishment system is totally sucks. First of all WHAT THE HELL IS THIS BOT DOING WITH THE WARNS! Okay Im just being honest STOP STOP STOP using a terrible auto warn system just please riot

How are any racial slurs, homophobic or any inappropriate language a joke? What clicked in your mind that, "Oh this is a zero tolerance word, but I'm just going to say it's a joke, they're not allowed to take it seriously." I mean come on, man. The system isn't that complex. There's NEVER EVER a time when it's okay to say anything that is against the zero-tolerance policy. Never. Don't say anything that can literally be taken out of content. The lol chat isn't meant for responses like that. As for the ban, you probably used up both of your Chat Restrictions chances and you're onto your 3rd Penalty.

People need to seriously stop testing the Zero-Tolerance policy just to say the system is broken. Nothing is broken about the system, it's just people needs to stop thinking they're invulnerable to the system.
