Chat Restriction

Played a game today with an extremely toxic jax top and nunu jungle.

I wasn't playing very well, and the jax and nunu made that abundantly clear. They were toxic all game and bullied me incessantly with their comments. I responded back negatively, which I admit was wrong of course and I could have acted cooler.

However, my behavior does not at all justify their ridiculously unbelievable behavior towards me and my support.

The level of toxicity this possessed and dished out to me and my support were most definitely ban-worthy.

I find it unbelievable that two people can act like this and get away with it so naturally, I report them both.

Now them being a duo of course they teamed up and both reported me for having a disagreement with them and asking why they're acting this way.

And I receive a 25 day chat restriction, while they both get off scott free.

I've been playing league for a VERY long time and I've gotten alot of friends to play with me, and been very active in the community as a whole.

I find it unbelievable that I was given a punishment in any form for what I said to them during this one game, as that was the -only- game listed on the chat log.

I would very much appreciate if you could review my case again, and actually look at what I said IN RESPONSE to some of the terrible, egregious, absolutely heinous things they were saying to me.

I would also very much push a harsher punishment to duos who bully others, as they seem to never get punished and always punish the one they report.

As well, I insist you think about changing however you go about dishing out punishments to people as a whole, as I am generally very pleasant in league matches, and will never lash out at others unless I am attacked first.

TL;DR: Absolutely ridiculous chat restriction, please review my case again and think about changing your punishment system.

  1. You have no clue if those people also received a chat restriction for their behavior. The system does not notify you every time a player you reported is punished, and in fact you should only expect that 20-30% (at most) of people punished based on your reports result in a notification.

  2. Multiple reports do nothing. It doesn't matter that they're a duo, and it's just as likely one of your other teammates reported you for being toxic. One report is all that is needed to flag the game for review and further reports do absolutely nothing.

  3. Context doesn't matter. You are free to mute people who are flaming you/treating you poorly/being unhelpful. You are not free to subject the other members of your/the other team to your toxicity in retaliation.

  4. If you'd like to discuss the punishment further, please post your chat logs and we can help you identify where you went wrong.

Hint if you have a problem with a chat restriction I would recommend creating a ticket and speaking with Riot Support
