I have been permanently banned

I have been permanently banned from league of legends. I want to express my concern for this community. I was flamed for 95% of that game, what did I say? (i use timestamps, so forgive me for not including them.) [top no f - top no ult - (v ping x2) care top tele - put a deep ward so i can tele - they are doing dragon.)

for about 35-40 minutes, the 4made party (thx dynamic queue) that i joined proceeded to deliberately feed bot lane, straight up running into the lane and feeding. what happens? of course they cyberbully the one guy not in the premade. what happens to the enemy team? well, as they see those 4 laughing it up in all chat, they join in. you now have 9 people upset with me. now, if you want to permanently ban me for having a bad game, that is not something i was aware of. i did not realize riot could do this. if you want to ban me for saying, "not really a gg, but ok." fine. i guess that's my penance for suffering through 40 minutes of verbal bukkake. if you want to ban me for challenging the opposing laner to a "1v1 for a skin" after the game? ok. where in the summoner's code does it say this is not allowed? where then, would i ask, are the bans for the other offenders?

have i received chat bans in the past? yeah. i have. i'm not going to lie. i'm not going to sit here with a perfect smile like a young kid that is pretending he didn't color with crayons on the walls. no. i'm an honest dude. chat bans though, shoot riot, i've been playing your game since season 1. season 1. o-o. if the permanent ban was coming, where is the 1 month ban? where is the deliberation to say, look man, see we gave you a chat ban in season 3. this means you can't ever make a mistake again. that's pretty hyphy riot. lol. did i get a 2 week ban before? yeah. what did i learn? don't let my roomate play on my account to try the game out. i accept full responsibility for these actions. i have smurf accounts that have seen zero punishment. the behavior on those accounts is no different.

so i'm curious. what banned me? where was my notice? where is the line? if 9 people gang up and report you, even though you played through, gritting your teeth... through afk-ers and feeders and flamers, etc... game in, game out.. that happened this particular game riot. yet i get a permanent ban.

i'm again, trying to be very clear, so i apologize if i am a little flustered.

i am confused. where is the line in the sand?

did this account, having had a chat ban or a 2 week ban in the past flag for a system stating "listen if in the next 20 years, this guy gets a ban 1 time, just delete him from the server."

is that how this is?

if that's the case, i'd like you to show it to me in the summoner's code. i'd also like for you to refund me the 100$ purchase i made within the last 24 hours. i'm not asking for refunds in any other capacity. i'm not asking for refunds dating to the dawn of the account... i enjoyed those purchases. i enjoyed playing those games. good & bad. seriously. SERIOUSLY. who would play a game since season 1, watch every lcs performance and support your content creators so faithfully than anyone other than a true fan. i've been playing since dota in wc3. this is the jam, dude. mobas are a blast, but i am just at a loss here.

if this ban is to stay, so be it. that's fine. absolutely fine. i have no qualms with this. i am not here to ask for a lift on the ban or to haggle with you on the account. personally, i don't want it if this is how you feel. we're in agreement. i no longer need to play your game.

what i'm asking for is a refund of the day's purchases. return it to the card. the system in place to escalate bans from chat ban to permaban is beyond me. that's cool, i guess. i can't really battle a big name company.

know that with this permaban, i will discontinue playing my smurf accounts. with a tip of my hat, i bid you farewell riot. i have had a lot of fun, but there are a lot of problems you are facing here that seem to be snowballing out of your control. apparently, out of mine as well. lol. /shrug

--

good luck NA - i will be passing on the LCS competitions from here on out. hopefully we can work something out with the refund. otherwise, i will take up genuine legal action. i will be dropping my other lvl 30 / ranked accounts as well.

sincerely yours, -concerned long time advocateitem 3070 item 3070

I think it would be better to try and contact Support. Because honestly at least from how i am reading it, something just isn't adding up. Like others have said Punishment doesnt stay on your record, at least not that long. Either you arent remembering other bans/punishment you recently had. Or you were just that toxic in chat that you just got bump to a permaban. Like i said in my previous post this would all be clear if we see your chatlogs. Are you able to get into your email that is associated with the ban League account? Because that should have all the proof you need as to why you were ban. If not then as i said in the beginning Contact Support as they will have the right resources to help you. We are just like every other forum user.

Bans work in a tier list now. usually going 2 chat restrictions, and a 14 day ban, to Permanent. You can skip a tier depending on how severe your chat was. So seeing how you had Chat restrictions in the past it would be obvious that some sort of ban was coming. To be fair we have no evidence of what you said which could all come clear with your chat logs had you actually post them. You should have gotten one when you logged in (notifying you of your ban) and an email which could have 1-3 games worth of chat log. Seeing how you didn't receive a 14 day ban and went straight to perma, it seems like you probably use something like racist, or other derogatory slurs which have a zero tolerance here! Again all of this would be clear if you post your logs!

As for getting a refund its just not going to happen. I mean you could try suing them but i highly doubt it will go far. It seems to me that you probably didnt read the ToS or else you would know that One: The account isnt really yours, Two: You dont technically own the skins/champions you bought. It is basically a renting service. hence why you dont actually buy Skins/Champions right off the bad. You bought RP in which case you used that currency to "rent" the use of skins and champions. these are basically the normal ToS that any type of services use; EG: Steam, PSN, XboxLive, Nintendo, etc.

so i'm curious. what banned me? where was my notice? where is the line?

Link your chatlogs and we can show you exactly where you crossed the line (in our opinion of course) and what you would have to change to avoid being punished.

did this account, having had a chat ban or a 2 week ban in the past flag for a system stating "listen if in the next 20 years, this guy gets a ban 1 time, just delete him from the server." is that how this is?

After your 2-week-ban you are on probation, which basically means that any further violation results in a permaban. However you don't hold this status for "the next 20 years". As a rule of thumb, 3 months of clean behavior will result in you dropping down one tier of punishment. So if you got a 2-week ban and behaved normally (i.e. no flame etc.) for 3 months, your next violation would be punished with another 2-week-ban instead of a permaban.

i'd also like for you to refund me the 100$ purchase i made within the last 24 hours.

I am not sure if that is legally possible, but if it is you should contact the Riot support asap.

i feel like i should clarify, my name is Todd H. i am the OP. riot blocked the posting account now after i started this dialogue. the shortest way i can say it is that i played > purchased > played > banned > logs deeming the ban pre-date the purchase > can i have a refund because that seems shady. you don't need 100$ that bad, riot. if so, shame on you. completely. (the ban is fine. i don't want to be unbanned.)

If you feel this way, definitely contact your credit card company, explain Riot's fraudulent behavior, and ask for a chargeback. You'll almost certainly get it. Otherwise, you can take them to court, but if it's only one purchase, I think you are fortunate and can remedy your situation with much less hassle.

Did anyone bother looking @ his match history of what he though he said in the end i wasn't true. 4 People feeding automatically doesn't look like it on his match history.

You can try to get your money back. I have heard of paypal refunding people's money before because they made a claim vs riot. AS far as paying with a debt/credit card......idk, If you got a pre-paid riot points card.....you are screwed =/
