Whats up with all the hate speech lately?!

Ok, admitting that I'm not a very good player. Why do I have to be told "Im trash" or anything else hate related?! thats bullcrap! i quit dota and came to this game because the community was nicer and more forgiving. the higher i get to level 30 the uglier the game gets! WTF?!!! I thought you guys cared about the content of your game, but I've gone 10 games in a row and not a SINGLE one without infighting inside my own team. I'm seriously thinking about uninstalling and recommending no one ever play this game again just because of chat, or just never progressing passed level 20. I can't have fun with some little 13 year old spewing filth in the left corner. Effectively sabotaging any chance we had at winning in the first place. i end up in a stupid chat battle by 15 mins almost every time, the few exceptions without negative chat we normally win. I could mute chat, but that hinders the team i play with. Ill just mute chat until the problem is addressed, but this is getting ridiculous. When did this become a hatefest?

This is the source of your problems. Do not retaliate or engage with trolls or haters. Thats what trolls want, and it will just cause haters to tilt even harder.

Your basically adding fuel to a raging fire. The only valid solution is to suffocate it with silence.

All you need to do is mute the offending player, then report them at the end of the match. Don't retaliate. Don't mention them to others. Once they are muted just pretend they are a bot and play the rest of the match

Mute allies and opponents. Trust me. Anything you need to say, can be said via pings. Emotional tilt is real :3

Don't feed the trolls by giving them more attention. Just mute them when they are toxic and report them at the end of the game. I think there is a lot of toxicity at the lower levels because a lot of the people who are leveling up are people who got their main accounts banned. It's one downside to free to play games. It does get better once you hit level 30 but there is always some level of toxicity. Just mute and report and you'll be so much happier. It honestly doesn't affect communication because those people never offer any useful communication anyway.

I haven't noticed anything like that since i hit level 30 with 600+ played games my teammates are usually silent asf and ping to communicate.. If you have problems with players just hit TAB and hold it to open up the Player interface and then click the Sound icon which mutes the player.. This fixes all your problems and then just report whatever he did at end game let riot fix it don't talk to them or engage with them

It's because a good number of pre-30 players are likely players who'd gotten banned on other accounts (or are just smurfing in general) and are now spreading their anger/egos across the early game experience, I think.

My new account is only level 16 and I'm already getting tired of how bad peoples' attitudes seem to be down here. It's gotten so much worse than when I first leveled my original account years ago.

It does get somewhat better if you can actually tough it out, but it's really not easy anymore.

Sometimes, I wonder if the real reason they cut the XP to 30 in half is because the growing attitude problems in pre-30 games are making it even more of a coin toss whether you win or lose.
