Someone hacked my wife's account!

She has it back! But now we need to know what to do next? Here is the story.

She hasn't played for months after her brother died, and when we went to play this week together she couldn't log on. After trying the password and username reset online, after almost a week she got it back. We just logged onto it and saw that someone has been playing on it. They even bought riot points! They used PayPal and we have an order ID.

So should we do anything more to pursue this guy or should we just drop it?

I'd say beef up your wife's account security through some sort of psychotic password, and then just drop it, and count the rp gain as a win.

It may be best to contact Riot Games Player Support informing them that your wife's account was compromised, such that they can associate any activity during this time to that individual. Technically, these actions are tied to the account, but in the case that let's say your wife needs to recover the account in the future or dispute any actions, Player Support has the information on hand that those actions and login sessions were the hackers'.
