I'm tired of idiots banning their own team champions in champ select riot can you please add a feature where when we hover over what champ we are gonna play our team cant ban that champ because there are always those people who for some odd reason want to ban their own teams champs and if there is anyone who does that reading this can u please explain me the logic. espicially 1 tricks, for example if someone is ekko main and u ban ekko what is he meant to play, like do u wanna win or ???

Silver player with “Yasuo” in name hovering high mechanic champs.

I’m not surprised you sometimes get banned out by your teammates, although I personally would not have done that and would call out anyone who did.

It's easy to poke fun at the Yas one-trick here, guys, but what's the alternative? Are you magically going to make him play better by denying him his main champ?

so you only have one main champion?

what i think is funny that someone is crying over a champ that is known to be hated by majority of the player base and has one of the highest ban rates being banned.

https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/current/platinum/plus/champion/Yasuo/Middle/

currently sits with a 58.17% ban rate in plat + across all regions

The mechanic of banning always has priority over picking.

Playing your second favorite champ is considered an acceptable loss by Riot, while playing against/with your least favorite champ is something they don't want to force on people.

That said, if the people banning your hover make it clear that it was for the purpose of trolling/annoying you, based on this competitive ruling, then you should report them, as that is a punishable offense.

When someone bans your hover, or bans Yasuo because of your name even if you didn't hover him, don't start an argument about it. Assume that it was a legitimate ban, or treat it as if your opponents had banned him.

This way, if the ban was legitimate, team cohesion is not threatened and you wont start the game tilted. And if the ban was for the purpose of trolling/annoying you, the player doing so will always take additional (more easily detected by the IFS) actions to annoy you. Report them after the game.

Yasuo should in theory never be locked out. After all he "has a key!"

I sometimes ban champs my team hovers if they're not first pick... because if you're not first pick and you want one of the 'op champs', even if I don't ban it you're not getting it. The enemy is almost certainly going to pick it first. And I'd rather ban it and you be a little annoyed at me, than not ban it and end up having to face it and you still being annoyed, just not at me.
