Chat restriction? So now i cant communicate with my team

Here is the chat log that riot provided to me. can someone explain to me why I'm on chat restriction? this is ridiculous that people will report for stupid shite. I am not happy and if this continue because I had a bad game and my team was lousy so I get the report from the whole team and now what? Riot this is ridiculous you need to come up with a better behavior program then this because this just take all the fun out of the game. If this keeps up I will be uninstalling, and begin writing shite reviews. ive been playing since season2 thing is ridiculous. and the fact that you give me a log with only my chat is pathetic because people that do read this wont know everything going on but its whatever if I get chat restrictions again and there is no toxicity from me I will be suing Riot games

I love the people sitting on the sidelines acting like you blew up the white house. Funny how they don't even bring up a single point where you really did something or said something that validates a chat ban, they just get hung up on the suing part like machines with bad coding. I'mma make a habit out of copying all the things others say to me in chat, because I haven't gotten a notification in quite some time after reporting people on toxicity, but normal shit like this gets a chat ban. I got a chat limit too recently, 5 words per game but not even an explaination on why. Been playing since s2 myself.

Hello dear TexasTerminator I just read your entire post and decide to leave here a few helpful tips! for you <3. Its really nice there is still some oldschool players in the game I don't know how many of them is still out there, but as you mention you start in season 2 and I start in season 3 so I think we definitely somewhere on similar level. I completely understand your frustration and would like to help you out, why I can do it ? because I was there, there where you are right now, this happened to me somewhere around end of season 4 I believe. I was located exactly in same situation but I didn't know at that moment that there is something like League Boards fantastic place where you can share your experience and actually become "a better player". Many people out here will definitely help you out. some of them will just laugh about it and some of them will compare your experience to theirs and probably still laugh about it. I think you should laugh about your entire post as well and be happy man :). Why you should be happy man ? because this is just "soft" notice that your behavior in game is currently at not good state and the game give you this notice as a reminder that we love you and would like to still have you here. I hope you are still happy man because guess what... when "I" hit that "chat restriction" I was just like you! and you know what happened to me next ? I hit 14 day ban SUPER right I miss League so much at that moment and trust me you don't want to be in this kind of situation period. That happened because me just like you ignore this and continue deliver quality chat :/ instead of quality gameplay. You clearly state that your focus is in chatting with people cuz that's gives you most fun, instead of helping them out win the game, you chat way to much and probably that is what's considered toxic behavior, there is no chance you chat so much/entire game and win the game, im 100% sure. Developers of this game clearly state that some of the games can/gonna be hard / heated / can be frustrated and try to keep cool head and you will definetly win more games. I think we shall accept this with smile on the face :) game is for free, every year is better and better I'm actually super exited about next patches. I see clearly that you asking some questions that is completely unnecessary like this one: TexasTerminator: uhhh excuse me how am i suppose to take care of three lanes? in my opinion this type of chat can clearly disrupt entire focus for your teammates League is high pace game and there is no time for this type of education especially in ranked games idk what type of game you play but maybe some practice with bots/normals :) could fix that. The Laughable part of this is... you start S2 so so many years in game and you make this type of questions? idk man its either clearly trolling or something else like having bad game or bad day. Still happy man ? I hope so :) guess what after that 14 day ban I have, I was so happy that I can comeback to game, you can just imagine, but there was some other consequences as well I lost all honor points from about idk 1k+ games. From that moment I become "a better player" and that actually help me out a lot :). Summa summarum I recommend forgive yourself and others all the toxic behavior and ultimately become a real LEGEND ;). this means deliver quality gameplay instead of quality chat, respect other players, try to use less vulgar language [kids playing] and keep cool head, apology to the company could be nice as well cmon man Riot working very hard every single day to make this game beautiful and colorful as much as they can, and there is Forums and people work here/give advice for free to help you out. League want to be loved just like God unconditionally but there is some limits.

Game1:

Sounds like you get tilted rather easily due to your teammates not really capitalizing on the ganks and vision you provide for them. You also call for reports against Teemo and yourself for some reason.

Game2:

You get frustrated at Yasuo for not helping you live what I presume to be a blue invade and later on not listening to your pings and building Stattik Shiv as his first item and then proceed to call for reports against him for those reasons. Unlike in the first game though you also insult the Blitzcrank by calling him garbage.

Conclusion: You seem to get frustrated at your teammates rather easily when they don't listen to you or help you out.

Advice: While I can understand that feeling constantly complaining about it all game long isn't gonna change anything, neither will calling for reports against them and insulting them. One report is as good as nine, and insulting others only get you in trouble along with them (assuming they were also misbehaving). If you're gonna mute or report someone then just do it without announcing it in the chat. Also. other people behaving poorly does not excuse your own poor behavior. Finally if you must rage then do it at the screen or in a pillow or something and not in chat as this will let you vent your frustrations without getting in trouble for poor in-game behavior.

My Verdict: Punish, as I feel a chat restriction is the correct punishment for these relatively tame logs. Hopefully this will encourage you to use the chat for more productive uses that are not complaining, yelling and/or raging at other players.

P.S. Only your logs are shown because it's only your behavior that matters here, and it was your behavior alone that caused you to get a punishment. Also good luck trying to sue Riot Games as there is no way your case will hold up in court. If this is your reaction to getting a simple chat restriction then you need to seriously reevaluate your behavior if you want to avoid being punished again, or at the very least find a different game to play with less strict rules regarding player behavior.

P.S.S. If you have any ideas for a better behavior program than the one we have now then we'd love to hear it. Just don't say perma-mutes though as that was already tried and failed before the Instant Feedback System (IFS) was introduced.
