Toxicity

Recently I noticed that for some reason, I am being queued up with very toxic people (including actual Teemos). I get tilted so bad just by reading the chat as people keep blaming each other, and now i resort to muting everybody the moment a enter a game just so i can try to have fun (trust me, its not fun having a silent chat).

Let me give a recent example: (written this way to not name people)

Btm lane was doing very badly, and mid lane was very fed. Mid just started saying how btm was noob every time they died. Then, mid decided to go btm. He pinged many times that he was going in, the support flashed to stun the enemy and then mid just left before he even touched the enemy. Btm proceeded to die. Then mid started to blame them even harder. I was top, and was 0/0/0 (I think), and i decided to defend btm by saying that its just a bad game for them. Mid started blaming me too, so i just muted him. At the end of the game, I stayed to look at the stats, then mid told the enemy team to "report btm and top for intentional feeding pls".

I have so many more stories about absurdly toxic people, I don't even feel like going into games without my friends anymore. It tilts me so bad just to read the chat flaming each other for minor things, and note that i don't really play ranked so my experience comes from normals. Doing badly could be because of tilt, a skilled opponent, or simply just trying out new champions or builds. Some of the worst things I've faces are just dumb things like reporting for AFKing for 1 min at the start of the game, or blaming someone for AFK when that person is obviously moving around and is just lagging. I am very sure some people play very casually at home with a very old computer and possible a bad Wi-fi connection, and these people are getting reported for things they cannot control. I am not sure about the reporting feature, but from where I play (Garena sever), I've reported a couple of clearly toxic people and I haven't been informed if those people have been looked into, or even if RIOT believes I have reported someone for no reason.

Even during the recent URF, I was called noob and useless for playing AP Rek'Sai even though I did rather well. I told him that I was just trying to have fun and he told me to "go play intro bots you **** noob" (thats how RIOT censors? why isnt it like ****ing). URF, at least to me, is mostly to have fun and trying to do well with gimmicky builds like AP tryndamere, AP lucian, etc, so why do those people who are so focused on winning even playing URF. There is a 'game mode' called ranked for those of you serious players out there...

P.S. Maybe RIOT should inform us about what happened to the people we reported, just so we know? Just something small I'd like to see added so I can feel better that I know RIOT has looked into the report. P.P.S. If anyone knows how the reporting system works in detail, maybe tell me or link the source below. I'm just curious. P.P.P.S. Sorry for the bracketed notes. Its just the way that I write.
