Chat restricted due to trolls... Again...

Explain how i can get chat muted for any of this? The report system is so damn broken. All it takes is two reports and you got a chat ban (1/3) needed. 3 games being reported = chat restricted.

ALSO: each of these games had 2 players who were friends. game 1: akali and nunu were teamed both talking crap about me how i played shaco. game 2 was tristina and shaco teamed up and greifing, stealing my jungle and refusing to gank me. game 3: caitlin and her support were feeding (0/25 bot lane) and purposely wouldnt accept the surrender cause they wanted to delay the game and troll.

This system is so flawed, with no appeal system. People are **abusing **the system.

You consistently berate your teammates and call for reports. And it never stops, throughout the whole game. Even if someone is feeding, how was anything you said helpful? Not much of anything you say is helpful in game. I'd have muted you because there's no point to your chat.

EDIT: League of Legends is trying to censor and create people to be scared to type. My friends don't type cause they don't wanna get reported and get their accounts banned. This game has a horrible system for banning. There's no "checking" reports, it's just reports = bans. It's a horrible system 100%.

The system is based on two wrongs don't make a right so no its not bs. Is it super effective at immediately eliminating trolls? No but its getting worked on. You just got tilted and think that their actions justified you being toxic back. If they were just as bad to you and you reported them its on their record too.

Also. Don't threaten to open mid or waste time typing about the game being over. Giving up and doing other things to bring down morale is reportable.

You didn't use your mute. You could've not said anything and just played ignoring them. I'll give it to you being invaded with no help is frustrating, but that's part of getting better at jg lol

The system is very very very flawed. The fact someone can get you chat muted just by reporting you (without having any reason) is beyond flawed. It's beyond the most bs I've seen.

Runescape back in 2007 had a report system like this which slowly killed the playerbase and made no one talk. now look at runescape. You'd be lucky if someone responded to you.

The community needs to be able to communicate. This isn't club penguin. There's no reason to mute someone over you saying "retards" once.

It's gonna kill the communication that LoL already doesn't have. That game is so dependent on teammates, having two players queued up who are trolls leads in one single player getting a chat mute.

Me telling the game/my team to report trolls (to help fend off trolls in low elo cause thats all there is) is breaking what rule? me saying gg we lost, is reportable? for "droping team moral" So nice censorship over saying we lost (which anyplayer knows at 45vs18 is literally a done game)

Not allowing opinions and freedom of speech and instantly punishing players for trying to communicate and make the game better = banned.

The system needs a big change. Different report options. banning someone for saying retards and saying we lost, or saying report someone for being toxic. shouldn't ever lead to a ban.

I wasn't being toxic, I wasn't flaming, I wasn't ruining the game, I wasn't griefing, What was i doing? Talking to my team and the other team..? It would be different If i were to be flaming/bullying/degrading/being racist. Just cause "you don't have to type" is an option. That shouldn't be the answer. The answer is a better report system to get rid of the actual trolling players so people won't get banned over reports like this. And I'm sure there's a lot more people who don't take it to the threads that get reported.

Okay, so you're being a jerk, and people don't like that.

That's literally all this is. You can refuse to accept responsibility for your own behavior all you want, but that changes nothing.

You are acting like a jerk, and you are ruining people's game experiences, so steps are being taken to stop that from happening. This will probably continue until your behaviour starts to improve, no matter how many people you argue with on the boards about it. You can do whatever you want with that information, but the choices you make are ultimately your responsibility, you don't get to just pass that off onto someone else.

Your reply is ignorant. I DID respond to what you said the difference is you STILL think your point is right. You think what you said is ok; its not. Hell its not even about "what offends you". In your chat logs you were a drag pure and simple. You didn't contribute anything positive. Do I really need to quote everything you said that was wrong? lol You have no right to say game needs better communication when you don't even use your comms correctly XD

You can get reported for being the guy who wants to ff and at 3 and talks all game about how its lost You can get reported for calling someone out for their score "cuz its a bad score" You can get reported for doing nothing but typing all game in frustration, even if you don't use "filtered" words You can get reported for calling other people to report players. Its considered a form of harassment. You don't need a group of people for the report to count if its legit. Why would you call for others to get a report and get yourself reported when you can just quietly and respectfully fill out the form end game?

I know I know, WHY right? Its pretty simple. It doesn't matter if you're calling someone a retard, whining about ff and losing, or complaining you get no help or telling people to report your team.

Its all negative and a misuse of chat so yes it deserves a ban if you do it enough.

People come here to have fun right? So how are you making anything more fun by lowering yourself to the level where you're considering your teammates trash and insulting them? How in the world do you logically expect anyone to respect you, follow your play calls, or even help you in game if you're just gonna call them out every second? Letting out your frustrations about the team doesn't motivate the team. People come here to play right? Well the user agreement says to be positive and friendly to other players. You don't like being ragged on for sucking do you? I'm sure you don't. If other people do it to you, its on you to not get baited into being just as bad.

The mute is there for people like you, who don't get that your chat wasn't meant for griefing or getting your wee little feelings out. Personally if you talked to me that way in game I would laugh, mute, report. The ban wasn't wasted. I wouldn't want your negative, giving up attitude in my game either. If you think the chat logs aren't scanned for content to verify a report you're also wrong. I've had people call reports for me soooooo many times. Still not banned. Why? Because I don't let them typing stupid shit like that phase me from the truth. Guess what? I've been deservedly chat restricted 1 time. I reformed. No punishments since.

Even if I have an ally going 1 10 0 or whatever its not worth to tell them they're bad, they suck, they won't amount to anything, that they don't know what they're doing etc. Truth is, unless you're in challenger or LCS, you ain't shit. Last I checked that applies to pretty much all of us including you.

As for people taking their bans to threads, I've only seen 1 instance where guy didn't deserve it based on what he said in game. He got it over turned and is playing again. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen to you.

So what's next? Baby rage more or correct yourself?

Asking for a report ONE TIME on someone if they're truly being horrible really isn't that bad but it's AT BEST redundant as the way the system works now is that it only takes ONE report for the system to check their logs on the game. It doesn't matter if someone gets reported once, 4 times, or 9 times. It's all weighted the same.

What IS punishable and also considered toxic behavior is CONSTANTLY asking for reports just like you did. It's annoying as all hell to constantly try to play and someone just won't shut up and stop saying "Report X toxic" "Report X insults" "Report X" "X said this Report" Especially if Im on the other team and its just team chat. I can't see what goes on between you guys. For all I know, you're just lying and being the troll yourself" Even if they ARE being the asshole, I still don't want to hear "Report X" over and over all damn game. Just like you were doing.

Enemy team still doesn't fully know or care what's going on between you and "toxic Shaco" they're apparently just trying to play and win the damn game. Which you're making it much easier for them to do because you spend all damn game saying "Report X". Maybe you just were mad on your own and Shaco was just point that out. They don't fully know what Shenanigans "Toxic Shaco" is trying to pull. They're trying to win. Even if he is trolling, he still won because it worked. Calling someone a retard isn't sportsmanlike, it's actually quite offensive and toxic. What is also toxic is giving up, lowering morale for your teammates, and being constantly negative. Calling for reports is also not allowed, as you're asking people to target one player. If they were being toxic, they can report for themselves. In just these chatlogs, you exhibit several times your toxic, negative attitude to other Summoners, and you so a clear disregard for trying your best and trying to be positive. I read through all of these and pulled everything I could find that was offensive. Also remember that these games aren't the only games you have been reported for, these are simply the games that triggered your account for review and you got the punishment over.

You're constantly demoralizing your team, calling for and threatening to report players, threatening to intentionally feed, called someone a 'retard', and showed overall very toxic behavior your teammates had to deal with. I suggest when you get back from your chat restriction to seriously consider your words and how they can impact the game. Having a teammate yelling at them can make them tilt and play worse, which you then add to with more toxicity, and it's not okay.
