"REPORT Annie feed mid idiot lost our game"

this is what i just got told in a game of league when i played pritty poorly. You cannot get reported for playing poorly right? 15 min ingame their jungler AND BOT ganked 7 times. i was 2 5 atm and my bot jg and top were screaming "report annie feed idiot, lost our game" in chat. i just wonder, can i get banend from riots system simply by playing poorly? if i go mid and loose 2 13 annie and everyone reports me EVEN THOUGH im trying can i get banned from this??? Im kind of tired of people who scream report me after they LITERLY did nothing to try to help, no ss no ganks after the enemies constantly camped mid and just dived.

the system can diferentiate between having a bad game and inting. you're good as long as you don't make it a habbit

multiple reports have the same value as one. wether you are reported by 1 person or 9, the system will only flag your game for review once. the 8 other reports do nothing

4+ reports is the same as 1.

A report, or 9 reports, flag a game for review.

if (reports > 0) { reviewGame(); }

also if you do nothing wrong then you aren't punished. it doesn't matter how many people report you or how often.

for example if you are reported by the other 9 people in the game for every game for the entirety of a season, if you do nothing wrong then you don't get punished

Technically speaking for you be reported for anything, but reports just flag the system to review for purposeful disruptive behavior.

The report will be discarded if the system didn't find anything to be considered as disruptive behavior.

Btw, people asking for reports in a harassment manner is punishable. Then again, I don't understand why people ask for reports, as 1 report works the same way as 9 reports.

When I stumble over someone calling reports gor losing the game, I often mention that losing a lane/game is not reportable by itself, or we run out of people pretty quickly. You should be safe.

I hope riot won't ban me for it. I hope it's not that negative. Because riot bans primarily for chat. By now, I am scared shitless of being scared shitless.

No you'll be fine. People will report, but as long as you're trying (and not being toxic in chat), Riot won't punish you. That would be pretty bad if they punished players for not being "good" at their game. Let alone just being a little worse than your opponents. You can still be alright and get stomped by someone who is better than alright.

Ifs its bad enough that it looks like inting, maybe. But I think they look at the game footage, so you won't get banned for getting camped. Unless you literally ran into (and I mean like, running past visible enemies in the middle of the lane into their tower) you should be safe

not anymore. there used to be a "unskilled player" report. not anymore tho , really with they would bring that report back

In my experience usually those people are the ones afk farming side lanes while their opponents group and shove down 3 towers mid. Their opinion isn't worth worrying about.
