IF YOU'VE SEEN THIS ONE BEFORE POSTED BY ANOTHER PERSON, THAT PERSON IS ME, I POSTED IT ON MY MAIN BY ACCIDENT, DISREGARD IT

So I just got banned for 14 days for reciting what a guy in our team said and slightly talking back to the two players on my team who were griefing and flaming. I recently got banned from my main for 14 days and I took that seriously so I decided to stop my toxic behaviour and start being friendly or not talk at all. Which is what I did, with the exception of this game. So... yeah... I did use some vulgar language in this but it's not so brutal for me to get a 14 day ban, not even a chat restriction. Not sure why this happens.

So this is your problem -- the cuck comment isn't working in your favor, but this language is the stuff that definitely caused you the biggest issue.

Riot has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, and these words blanked out by the boards are homophobic hate speech. That means the language isn't okay when someone says it as an insult, when someone says it to show what someone else was saying, or even if you're just asking what the word means. Hate speech is a strict no-go on League.

For the future, remember that the system values 1 report as highly as it values 9. There isn't a need to insult other players, or to ask for reports on them, or to repeat the reportable things they've said. Just report them, and it'll be exactly the same as if you convinced 8 other people to report them -- with the exception that your own account will not end up punished for insults or repeating zero-tolerance language. :)

Regardless what your intentions were, even repeating what someone says furthers the use of hate speech, which is unacceptable. There is no need to "tell others what someone else said" because it will have no benefit besides to tilt an already precarious situation into full blown flaming and toxicity. If you observe this behavior, you can report at the end of the game. doing so is also unnecessary because more reports in a single game do not change the fact that the chat will be reviewed. Getting 9 reports won't make the system review it 9x harder (that doesn't even make sense, honestly). All it takes is a single report to review the (pre-/in-/post-) game chat.

The best course of action is to mute, report, and move on.

Yes I agree you were banned for being stupid. Nobody needs a parrot in the chat, if they said such things just report and move along and let the system deal with it, it's quite effective, as you now can see.

I just have to ask, why repeat it? You know it is wrong, you know you can get ban for saying it, So why say it? These people you are playing with dont need to know what he called you. The way the system works is that since he was breaking the rules all you needed to do is to report him after the game. You repeating the word just gives him a reason to report you. This should be common sense, but i guess not!
