Banned for flaming a flamer cause he was flaming.

So I was banned for 14 days for things I said in the chat, Understood I don't have a problem with that, I said things that are considered toxic and wrong. What I do have a problem with is the guy that was flaming our entire team entire game isn't, so I am guilty, but not the %%%% that was flaming his teammates and was wasting so much time flaming instead of playing. If I am gonna be stomped on for flaming a flamer cause he is flaming in a game, but the guy who was literally flaming teammates for stupid reasons isn't then I am literally just gonna quit League after 6 years of f*cking playing it, I really don't need this type of treatment, I feel like the flamer is being protected by riot right now ffs. It's sad how I cant play a single game of lol right if I don't type in "/muteall", this only happens in this game and you then have to realize how pathetic this playerbase is.

You told another player to end their life over comments made in a video game. Perhaps something 1 player is more your pace.

Yes I did, cause I think its pathetic to flame people over being bad at the said game. I don't complain over the fact I was banned, I'm complaining over the fact how they aren't banned. :)

You don't always get a notification even if a punishment happened. It's intentionally setup that way so as to avoid spam.

Moreover, more often than not, two players flaming may be on different levels of punishment. Thus, the same slur that got x permabanned because x was just out of a two week ban, would just give y a 10 game chat restriction, because it's his first offense ever.

Thats because punishments are based on two questions:

Was he toxic?

Did he get punished recently and which punishment was it?

it's an easy rethoric to follow:

the 10 game chat restriction is based on wether you cared more about your ego than about the game.

the 25 game chat restriction is based on wether you cared more about your ego than about the game AND on wether you were already punished with a 10 game chat restr

the 2 week ban is based EITHER on wether you cared more about your ego than about the game AND on wether you were already punished with a 25 game chat restr OR wether you used 0 tolerance slurs

I never flame someone if they are bad, I flame people cause they are flaming or trolling cause of their ego :)

So by that logic, a troller, who intentionally feeds is gonna get a lighter punishment than the person who tells him to "kill himself" for trolling in the said game................... Ok I think I got it.

Moreover, an intentional feeder, when caught, gets an instant two week ban. Or a perma. Depends on what he's doing exactly and how often.Your argument is invaid.

But their toxic behavior is ruining the game experience, so whats the point of even playing the game if you aren't going to have any fun playing it? Do you enjoy your game when your Lux intentionally feeds cause she didn't get the role she wanted, then afterward report her and then report her to Riot support just so they can say "sorry, we don't ban people over tickets" and you then follow the player for 3 weeks seeing if they are gonna get banned and then realizing that they aren't gonna get banned?

and judging them won't make them stop doing it. it will only make things worse because before they were just flaming. NOW they have an audience to their drama because you showed interest.

Everybody plays with the occasional toxic player. What you need to keep in mind is that you’re in control of your chat. Focusing on what others did to bring you here is absolutely not going to help you. You need to focus on what you did to get a ban, and how to fix that so that you don’t end up permabanned.

think about it! when you flame back, you're encouraging them to continue because they now have someone to share in on their drama episode.

when you are instead respectful, you shut down their motivation to flame. a flamer is essentially a bully. and just like irl bullies, ignoring them makes them lose interest.

Probably because it feels good to tell people off for being shitty. Trust me dude, acting superior to a flamer gets you nowhere. They just keep flaming. If you actually care about whether they stop or not then you should just mute them and report them after the game. Feeding their fire by acknowledging it and giving them attention only makes the situation worse.

That's why I dislike this game, It's either type in "/muteall" and lose communication with the team or teammate so you cant discuss a strategy on what to do next or just watch a guy flame entire game and spread bad vibes in the team just because he is mad he losing in a videogame.

I never complained about teammates being bad, I never do, I actually have the brains to know that some people might have a bad day or don't have as much skill at the said game. I am not bothered if someone flames me , but i am bothered if someone flames their teammates for this stupid reason , how can i expect the other players dont mind the harassment? They will then start flaming them back as well.
