Influx of People in vs. AI games (bots) who A-move to grind beginner accounts.
I recently made an account on league of legends, the first thing I noticed is that when you start out, there is usually only ONE person out of the FIVE who actually say anything. At first I thought I was playing with AI on my team as well. However the Ai on the opposing team were being smart. The people on my team were not playing at all, they would always head to the same lane and execute themselves at the tower, as though they were on an auto-move setting. It was quite off-putting in the beginning because in order to win, there needed to be a player on my team who was a veteran to the game. These people frequently say only one thing, like for example, a Draven only said "push" the entire game. Obviously they knew how to use the chat, but they wouldn't respond to anything anyone said. Our team went 3 to 30 because of two players who did nothing but run into the turrets and execute themselves or give the enemy team kills. It became near impossible to fight the Ai Annie or Lux.
These accounts are really frustrating when trying to learn the game. I got one of my friends to play bots with me and grind up because otherwise I couldn't win a game. For new players to league of legends, the worst side of the system is what they are exposed to first. I played on my friends regular account vs. people and there were no people who went and killed themselves, they only disconnected or stayed in base. Staying in base, to me, shows more respect to the people trying to learn the game than running into turrets to grind accounts to avoid AFK bans. At least then we'd have a chance to win the game.
In fact, one of the people I played with actually asked how many people on our team were actual people. Only I responded. For my new account I couldn't do anything to win myself the game, even if I win against my opposing laner.
Riot, this is very off putting to new players, I hope you guys could make it better.
