And thats why saying it is reportable and bannable.

I actually know someone who said this after every victory and got chat restricted. He continued to say it until he got a temp ban. Only then did he stop.

If you say you are gonna report for that, and try to explain it to others so they report too, the reaction is all the opposite team making fun of you and calling you "salty", "cry more", "b**t hurt" etc.

Maybe because it's true? I'm mostly talking about how people announce that they are reporting because of that. report if you want, but if somebody just says gg ez and you go announce that you are reporting and everybody should as well then you are being butthurt

Announcing it is the only way to make other people aware that this is a reportable offense, said by several rioters to go against points 4 and 6 of summoners code, because in my experience the majority of players think it is not.

The intention on announcing it is not "Feel bad, I'm going to report you, you will regret making me lose" but "guys this is not right, you should know that it goes against the rules and deserves to be reported".

People are free to report what they want, people in game getting mad at something and asking others to report is just as annoying as somebody being mildly toxic. Not your place to go around telling people what they should report, especially because one report is all that's needed for a game.

Also your intentions don't matter, it comes off as butthurt and that's why people respond that way. You aren't going to get people to think differently about it, and if it hurts your feelings that they call you butthurt, maybe don't be that person who announces when they report somebody to begin with?

So, anything that relates to "gg ez" is bannable? If so, that's actually pretty good system I hate these type of people. They usually the arrogant players that says "This XXX suck, he feeds, and report." towards to my own teammates. Basically trying to pit them against me after getting killed 3 times by him and his teammate for assisting freaking ridiculous and the worse part my teammate is actually getting into it.

When this happened to me again I'll report them for being toxic and have them enjoy chat restriction.

Riot said that it wasn't bannable by itself. He was probably saying other things too. I say it after every game, win or lose, and I've never been chat restricted or banned.

I always report people who say, "gg ez" after a game. No exceptions. Sometimes i tell them I'm going to report or sometimes i don't say anything and just report. Either way it's not something i can just ignore even if they seemed nice all game besides this one moment at the very end.

I don't think it's toxic. I say it when the enemy talks trash all game then gets rekt. If it was an ez geme, it was an ez game. All there is to it really.

In my -personal experience- I have never had someone say "gg ez" without intending that message unless they are saying it jokingly (they lost and said gg ez).

Nah, I can see why it would bother you, but the words toxic,crying, salty, are actually the words that are the most toxic in this game, especially how they are almost always misused in an attempt to piss people off and start flame wars.
