Will riot unbann people? or do you guys the ban is worth or the reason is good

i got banned for bad behavior, permantly, so what i raged one time i said "kys" 1 sec right after that i said didnt really mean that im srry etc. i litterly got banned for insulting one time, while my team insultet the other mates and enemies multiple times.... the chat log:

Riot does not unban accounts that were not banned in error. There is no error in banning someone who was telling another player to kill themselves.

In cases where the ban was applied in error (i.e. an error on Riot's part)? Yes they will unban people. In this particular case though? No as telling people to kill themselves is 100% unacceptable here and is grounds for a punishment escalation. Just because your teammates were behaving poorly doesn't mean your own poor behavior gets a free pass.

I find this line in particular rather interesting:

If you didn't want to say it then why did you? There are much better ways to go about providing constructive criticism on a play than telling someone to go and kill themselves. Next time remember: if it's not helpful or constructive then don't press Enter.

Except that you can still make another account and try to improve your behavior on that one without fear of being banned on-site like Tyler1 is.

Yet you are a avrg Joe an he will be unbanned an allowed to come back this is terrible that someone who has many times told people live to go kys over an over an made it into a meme can be unbanned its bogus everyone can mess up an say something stupid and if the Pros can be toxic an get unbanned then this one time should be a 6 month cool down they never take it in consideration that people who support this game can make a mistake but they nevermind that when its a streamer but since its you an you arent trending YOU DONT MATTER this is how riot has always been when it was META to be toxic they did nothing

Riot understands that players make mistakes, which is why under normal circumstances players are given multiple opportunities, warnings and chances to reform before they get permabanned. Now if you go over the line with things like racial slurs, hate speech, telling people to kill themselves and/or participate in things like account sharing then Riot (and the community as a whole) is not so lenient or forgiving. Tyler1 is an exception and is (as far as I know) not getting unbanned any time soon because he blew all his chances and then some, hence the ban on-site penalty he has*.

As for the pros, yes players like IWDominate and Jensen got to play professionally again, but only after they showed significant improvement in their behavior and even then they never got (and never will get) their old permabanned accounts back.

*Feel free to link me to where Riot officially stated that Tyler1 may be getting unbanned in the future if I'm wrong about this.
