Honor Capsule in Season 8

Today, I had gotten my first Honor Capsule in Season 8. I was pretty excited to get this and I expected an awesome reward for being an honorable player. I got two Ryze champions shards and two key fragments. Those key fragments helped open a chest which gave me Master Chef Tahm Kench. I felt let down by the contents of the Honor Capsule. I am probably not the first to get a disappointed feeling with their Honor Capsule and I want to prevent any further disappointment with the Honor Capsule system.

The main issue is the reward within the capsule. As stated, I had gotten two Ryze skin shards within the capsule; 180 BE after disenchantment. That is closely equivalent to four First Win of the Game BE rewards and around 1/4 to 1/5 the Blue Essence obtained in Level Capsules. I do not think that the reward is sufficient. I am aware of the Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick rewards, but I want to strike at the general case. A capsule that is generally rare shouldn’t feel this disappointing.

I strongly recommend that the reward of an Honor Capsule should not feel disappointing. In my view, I feel like the general reward of the Honor Capsule should exceed that of a Level Capsule, but not too much. Considering the cap of obtaining an Honor Capsule is every three weeks, I could safely suggest that an Honor Capsule contain at least double the potential BE of a Level Capsule. I will admit, I'm not sure if this will make the Honor Capsule feel any better. However, I will still strongly recommend that the Honor Capsule reward be consistently good to get.
