Yes i did. Case closed. Time for new account. I don't know why Riot doesn't seem to realize that banning people doesn't reduce toxicity.

Nice way to try to blame Riot for your unwillingness to improve your behavior. If your account was banned that means you were given plenty of warnings, chat restrictions, etc. And basically Riot eventually gave up on you because you've made it apparent there is no hope for you to improve despite being given many chances.

So you prefer leveling up a new account, and not buying skins just so you can be toxic to your teams? How is this even worth it? What excuse do you have other than to blame Riot for something that is 100% your own doing... and yet you are trying to make it look like Riot is the bad guy in this case, wtf.

i know he didnt say anything about ip bans, i was saying that instead of permabans on one account where they can create another account. If you IP ban someone they cant make another account unless the move or get a different ISP

Actually, you don't have to move, get a new ISP, or even get a CPN.

In most cases, powering your modem off and back on will do it.

Unfortunately it's just too easy to change your IP, plus it would punish innocent people who share the same IP. (Roommates or in a townhouse for example)

no they should do what sane people like blizzard and perma silence the account. you keep the account but lose the ability to type....

Conceivably, many/most who are banned will then tread lightly to avoid being banned again, and those who are not banned would be incentivized to be on their best behavior so as to not lose out on their rank, IP gains, RP investments, etc.

Sure, some assholes will simply make a new account and continue to be assholes, but it's a deterrent.

they perm ban way too quickly, after 14 day ban make it 3 months and you think that persons gonna be toxic anymore? no they definitely wont

instead because of their zero tolerance bullshit players who get banned just make new account and because its a new account they wont get punished for a long ass time of being toxic.

What 0 tolerance policy are you talking about? You don't just get perma banned for a little bit of toxicity every now and then. You get warnings, a short ban and then perma banned. And you have to consistently be toxic to even recieve any form of punishment including warnings. Their punishment system is actually really lenient.

You dont have to be constantly toxic to get banned, I got a 14 day ban in the start of season 5 and I stopped being toxic, just a few months ago I went a little bit off edge and I get perm'd.

their system only creates more toxicity, cause usually the toxic people are the ones that care too deeply about the game, and now that all their time and money is wasted, they're going to take it out on people using multiple accounts. banning someone for 3 months to a year, that person would be forced to figure out what they did wrong and probably wont be toxic ever again.

and also, its one thing to ban people for hate speach, but banning for toxicity is pathetic, if you can't handle someone getting mad at you then ur a fucking baby

No it makes people play on a little stupid account with dumb people for 3 months while they wait for their main to be unbanned and since they don't give a flying F about the little account and believe everyone around them is so far below them that they should uninstall will be even more toxic because this is just a temp account after all. It's not like they will need it later.

The perma bans are good because now they have to have a new main account. So they ether adopt the attitude you are talking about and constantly have new accounts banned or they straighten up.
