Low IQ and self-esteem reporters

More and more this is becoming reular. Either me or others are being reported for actively trying to communicate (played with platinum guys and saw the same - and none of them would even think of reporting each other)

There is a serious conncetion between low IQ players and low self-esteem and the happiness to report others. They report all sort of "teachers" as toxic. Their school teacher is toxic (demands homework) and YOu with your attitude to see LoL as a competetive game are toxic. Only marihuana is not toxic to them, while they are intoxicated.

I was just reported for attacking a player for not informing team that his lane opponent is missing for 10 minutes and doing a 3 vs 1 running after our jungler. Instead of joining (runing after his lane opponent) this guy was still farming his lane quitely not watching the map (enjoying his spliff?!). As I was the jungler who was beeing attacked by Top, Support and the other Jungler I was.."under stress" and they were farming and chilling.

The thing escelated when toplaner told me "you didn´t even gank top in 18 minutes", while he had no opponent there.

This might be it for my account. You got me. I´m guilty!

I don´t have anything about Low IQ or low-self-esteem, but I recommend nobody to talk to these guys in Bronze. All they want is blame others and if reporting is the only thing possible, they will do it...they will call others to report you for you told them to ss, and their personality disorder doesn´t allow them to be told that. They will see a toxic player in you, ding them harm. They are lost and try to make you lose it too.

Yes, you're a "Teacher" providing "friendly advice". Here's a bit of "Friendly advice" for you. Being good at League of Legends is a completely useless skill in life. Manners, on the other hand, is probably the most useful skill you can have. Insulting people for being "bronze" is therefore one of the least productive things you could do with your time.

You're leaving League, that sounds like everyone's a winner. You don't have to put up with people who don't appreciate your "friendly advice" and we don't have to put up with said "friendly advice".

what are you talking about? Bronze is not an insult but a ELO-Category and I´m Bronze too. You think I´m insulting myself? When I say "go to bronze" I mean this is where you see what I´m talking about. You are exactly the kind of person I talk about - seeing toxic behaviour behind every corner. That´s how you guys gain a little bit more self-esteem and suck on other people´s energy. You want to be the good ones, so you see evil in everything you see.

Ah, yes. I see. I misunderstood the intent of your "go to bronze comment". I'd say the rest of my response is still valid. I'll try to edit it in light of this.

But the key thing you need to realize is that this rationalization you're doing after the fact is part of the problem. Not wanting your "friendly advice" has nothing to do with self esteem, nor does not appreciation your psychoanalysis of people's motivations. It is simply poor manners and is irritating. If you are constantly getting reported for something, that should be a message that maybe that thing is simply not appreciated and you should stop doing it.

poor manners is what you might or might not project into my intentions. It is not what I do...it is activity on your side seeing evil where there is none. You can of course report people for what you call "bad manners". I try to say nothing at all, but the alternative is being matched with the same people who still didn´t learn some basics. If the community doesn´t tell them, how should they know? Is it my job to be irresponible and stay quiet instead of explaining? Is it my job to stay calm when they call me toxic and completely don´t understand how to honor somebody for "helpful" (the least voted honor)?

What are manners if not social conventions about what is pleasant and unpleasant? Here you have been reported (by enough people that it is becoming a problem for you) by people which find you unpleasant. Can you not take a hint?

People don't report me, they don't call me toxic. This is because I understand that the people I get matched with are about the same skill level as me and are queuing up to play games, not be told what to do.

This is not about "your job". This is a hobby. Just play the damn game, man.

to analyse the reasons people reported me, we would need to go deeper. There have been justified bans, when I really "lost my mind" and insulted people in a few games. But there is also absolutely mind-boggling false judgement bans from the horrible RIOT reporting tool. People insult me as troll (because I died or something)..I answer "troll?!" - and get banned for that.

This is not even what I´m talking about. Why do you even I talk about myself and my bans? You try to see evil here again.

I see how newbies attack the helpers. That´s what I´m talking about. They´d rather report one helpful player 10 times, instead of honoring him 1 time for helpful advice.

AraMoOse2 votes

No I think this is really the problem... I didn't say anything about your bans. In fact I had to revise my post since I realized you hadn't mentioned any bans in your OP and so for all I knew you were just saying people had reported you. Are you currently under a ban? If so we could look at the chat logs together (with some delicious cake I just made!) and I could help you identify the areas that could be causing problems. Although given your second sentence on this last message, it seems you're aware you actually got banned for "losing your mind" and insulting people, and not for asking someone "troll?". So we can dismiss this line of discussion since we're in agreement.

The key point I think you want to make is the one you made in your third paragraph, which I'll call (tell me if I'm mischaracterizing) "People are too sensitive when I try give them advice".

So I want to go through this quickly in two ways. The first is the most obvious : The difference between people being too sensitive to your advice and your advice being too harsh to people is 0. These are exactly equivalent. Regardless of the case, two things are true 1. People's feelings get hurt 2. You get punished. I hope you agree these are both undesirable outcomes. Therefore the obvious conclusion is : I should not give my "advice". For me, reason 1 is enough, but if it isn't enough for you then by all means refer to true thing no 2.

And the second is that I feel I am capable of giving advice to people in game. I'm not a super genius or a paragon of social aptitude or even much of a diplomat (as you can tell). Why is this? Why am I capable of doing it and never get punished if, as you say : "They report all sort of "teachers" as toxic".

you're not toxic, you're just annoying lol

AraMoOse1 votes

I'll take that as a compliment, coming from you.

Reports are reviewed in order to ensure that they are valid. If you have received punishments from these reports that just means that it has been determined that your behaviour violates the TOS. Your opinion on what is acceptable behaviour really doesn't matter as it is Riot that makes the rules.

Chat log, please.

which of them all? Talking about observations of many games. People call others toxic when they give friendly advice to obvious newbies. Everything that sounds like a "teacher" is toxic. Because they lack personality to take help and understand it´s helpful and friendly advice. NO, the "teachers" are toxic!

TheSequelsRBad1 votes

Sometimes, people don't want advice. The solution isn't to try to force them to be the way you want them to be, even if you are right.

If someone rejects your advice, you should leave them alone.

Schàdenfreude1 votes

I hate it when people don't talk during game. It gets really annoying when they don't even ping.

Djhrum1 votes

and then report you cuz you are toxic when you tell them they should SS and then blame you that you didn´t even gank their empty lane while they just didnt ss about their laner missing 10 minutes and don´t follow him. It all makes no sense and the trolls are out there with their low IQ and self-esteem. Some are on drugs and some of these guys even admit they are.

get me banned finally RIOT. protect your "community" from me. do it. i don´t fit into this community somehow. i can´t stand getting matched up with these junkies any more who can´t take a word or friendly advice and keep whining about my toxicity. let them chill without me.

its not that common, when you get down to it. people report who people think need to be reported. The system will clarify false reports compared to true reports So not much to worry about

Bronze. Go to bronze and stay calm.

I feel like your view of Marijuana is a bit archaic. Smart people that smoke pot tend to not act like that. They can play the game as well as anyone else that's sober. Skill is skill. Just saying, don't blame the pot. Pot can actually make the game a lot less toxic for some people. In theory, one should be less stressed and more willing to ignore someone else's toxic behavior or be more forgiving of someone's mistakes.

That being said, I know some people that just go into "IDGAF mode" and just become aggressively toxic and sometimes malicious.

me fighting with Poppy in bush, Volibear coming, running 1 meter away from us and don´t do nothing. I signal "help" multiple times, Volibear walking back....2 meters away from us to the other direction. I die while he leaves the area and does something else. I ask: what drugs do you need to not see this" - his answer: "just green".

I´m not against pot, I´m against people who should know they are stoned hard. When people are stoned hard they shouldn´t play LoL but enjoy music or stuff. There´s a difference between being stoned hard and just having smoked one to gain more focus. It´s like being "a little drunk" or "totally wasted". But with weed you don´t feel that wasted, just act ...let´s say..."slow". In the end you make other people sad/raging/flaming/toxic with this "slow-motion thinking, chillout mode". Oher people get banned because of the chill-out.

I like the fact tht when I ask people they admit that they are stoned. But it seriously ain´t good for their ranking stats (and other people stats too)

I'd say they were just using it as an excuse. But if you're going to get stupid high and play, and you're not good at playing stoned out of your mind, play an ARAM or 3v3. Some people just can't handle their smoke.

I lost count how many games I have lost because some dumbwad comes into ranked and right once the game starts, they let everyone know just how "drunk/stoned AF" they are right now. Had one guy so drunk/stoned they kept passing out in the middle of the lane. They would go into lane, idle, die...then come back a few minutes later "Sorry guys, drunk af, I passed out again"

Mr Fidori1 votes

You said yourself you were reporting for attacking another player. Someone's performance isn't an excuse for you to attack them. Most people will listen to someone when the voice isn't hostile.
