Its not Ivern as a jungler thats the problem. yeah its a bit whacky.. But when you make these kinds of champs riot you are setting up trolls. I just played a game where i got demoted because i got counter jungled by our own ivern support who also took smite for some reason? Yeah it may just be that 1 in 100 idiot troll, But im sure there are plenty of idiots that somehow think it would work. Please spank these kids rito

Ivern cant steal your red or blue buff, but he can smite the camp as support on red or blue side so he and mid lane or bot lane (whoever you would normally give the buff to) still gets it as well. You lost becuase your shitty attitude is so "omg the meta" that you threw hard and are looking for someone to blame. Smite is on a long cooldown. There is zero reason why you can list "hes trolling". This isnt tahm running your support into the enemy team or bard ulting your back line so they get deleted out of spite.

The guy smited my first 3 red buffs, so i didnt get the exp. and proceeded to farm krags everytime they spawned. If you dont think that exp lost is a huge loss than you arent worth talking to.

A support can screw a jungler by taking jungle camps the same way a support can screw an ADC by last-hitting minions in lane.

Also, as a rule of thumb, any reworked champion or new champion should be an auto ban for your sake more than the enemy team for the first two weeks or so. This is what I do to avoid the situation in the first place, so yes, there is a way to combat this.

The only real solution is to ban Ivern but if someone came into the game with the intent of trolling, they're gonna troll anyways.
