Its not Ivern as a jungler thats the problem. yeah its a bit whacky.. But when you make these kinds of champs riot you are setting up trolls. I just played a game where i got demoted because i got counter jungled by our own ivern support who also took smite for some reason? Yeah it may just be that 1 in 100 idiot troll, But im sure there are plenty of idiots that somehow think it would work. Please spank these kids rito
Trolls will troll. Whether it's a particular mechanic they abuse or not, they'll still ruin the game. We can't let that stop us from trying out new mechanics.

No offense mate, but these people do exist. Also, as a rule of thumb, any reworked champion or new champion should be an auto ban for your sake more than the enemy team for the first two weeks or so. This is what I do to avoid the situation in the first place, so yes, there is a way to combat this.
